       On the 29.th day of September Came before us the Subscribers two of his
       Lordships Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel County Benjamin Howard
       and James Dick parties to the within Deed and did severally acknowledge
       the within Deed to be their respective Act and Deed that the Recovery
       within mentioned was had and suffered to and for the use within
       Declared and the one Hundred Acres of Land with the Rights
       Members and Appurtenances thereto belonging and the Iron Oar
       Iron Mine and Iron Stone and the Liberties and Priviledges
       within granted or mentioned or intended so to be granted to be the Right
       and Estate of the within Named James Russell Walter Ewer John Ewer
       and John Buchanan their Heirs and Assigns to the true Intent & meaning of
       the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and
       provided      Acknowledged this 29.th Septem.r 1770      R Ghiselin

       Buchanan the sum of four Shillings Sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore
       it being the Alienation Money on the within one Hundred Acres of Land
       by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq.r his said Lordships

       This Indenture made this second day of October in the Year of our
       Lord one Thousand seven hundred and seventy Between Zacheus Onion
       of Baltimore County Iron Master on the one part and Charles Carroll of
       the City of Annapolis in Ann Arundel County Barrister of the other part
       Witnesseth that the said Zacheus Onion for and in Consideration of the
       Sum of one Hundred and ten Pounds Sterling Money of Great
       Britain to him in hand paid by the said Charles Carroll the receipt
       whereof he doth hereby acknowledge Hath given granted bargained
       sold Aliened Enfeofed released and confirmed and by these Presents
       doth absolutely give grant bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff release and
       confirm unto the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for
       ever all that Tract or parcel of Land Scituate on the South side of
       Gun Powder in Back River Neck in Baltimore County aforesaid called  
       Onions Marshy Point granted to Stephen Onion the Eleventh day of
       August seventeen hundred and forty two and all that Tract or Parcel of
       Land being part of Lees Island whether Included within the Courses
       herein set down or not to which the said Onion has Right & Title
       and of which he is now seized being a Tract or Tracts of Land
       whereon a certain John League formerly Lived and now Rented of
