589) On the Back of the foregoing power of Attorney was thus indorsed On the Seventh Day of January in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy four came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel County Charles Buchan and made Oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God that he saw John Glassford James Gordon John Campbell jun.r Henry Riddell Alexander Low and William Ingram within named severally sign seal and as their respective Act and Deed deliver the within written power of Attorney or Instrument in Writing and that he the said Deponent and a certain Thomas Grahame did respectively subscribe their names as witnesses to the due Execution thereof Sworn before 17½ Sides R Ghiselin Recorded the 7.th January 1774 Ex.d This Indenture made this tenth Day of September In the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and seventy three Between William Wilson Eldest Son and Heir at Law of William Wilson Senior deceased late of Baltimore County & Province of Maryland of the One Part and Rachel Harrison of Ann Arundle County Widow Relict of Richard Harrison late of said County of Ann Arundle and Province aforesaid deceased of the other Prat Whereas the aforesaid William Wilson deceased did in his lifetime bargain and sell unto a certain John Scrivener of Ann Arundle County since deceased all his the said William Wilson's part of a Tract of Land called Trent whereof the said William Wilson then Lived also one other part of a Tract of Land called Gowry Banks adjacent and Contiguous to the aforesaid Tract of Land called Trent both which parcels of land are lying & situate in Ann Arundle County aforesaid and for Which the said William Wilson senior deceased in and by a Certain Obligation beari^n^g date on or about the fifteenth Day of September in the year seventeen hundred and forty six bound himself and his heirs in the Penal Sum of one hundred and twenty Pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain to make over and convey the aforesaid two Parts or Parcels of Land with the Improvements &c to the aforesaid John Scrivener his Heirs and Assigns And Whereas the aforesaid John Scrivener by an Indorsment on the Back of said William Wilsons Obligation dated April 29.th 1747 assign and sett over to a certain Richard Harrison late of Annarundle County deceased all his the said John Scriveners Right and Claim to the aforesaid William Wilson Seniors Bond or Obligation And the said Richard harrison deceased did as its said by his last Will and Testament amongst other things give devise and bequeath unto his Wife Rachel Harrison all the aforesaid two Parts or Parcels of Land and Premisses during her natural Life and then to his Son Richard Harrison And Whereas it appears that the said William Wilson Senior deceased did not in his Life Time convey or make over the said two Parts or Parcels of Land either to the said John Scrivener or Richard Harrison or their Heirs Now this Indenture therefore Witnesseth That the said William Wilson Eldest Son and Heir at Law of the aforesaid William Wilson Senior deceased at the |
