583) Acknowledgment was made taken and signed at the Time of making taking & signing the same & long before were and now are two of his Lordship's Justices of the Peace for the County afs.d thereunto duly & legally authorized commissioned & qualified & that to all Acknowledgments by them so signed full Faith & Credit is & ought to be given in Justice Court & thereout 8¾ Sides (LS) In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and affixed the Publick Seal of the County afs.d this 20.th Day of December 1773 Recorded the 23.d December 1773 J Brice Clk Ex.d This Indenture mad the thirtieth Day of July in the year of our Lord seventeen hundred and seventy three Between William Paca of the City of Annapolis Attorney at Law and Mary his Wife of the one Part and Charles Wallace of the City of Annapolis Merchant of the other Part Witnesseth That the said William Paca and Mary his Wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings Sterling Money to them in Hand paid by the said Charles Wallace at and before the Ensealing and Delivery hereof the Receipt whereof the said William Paca and Mary his Wife do hereby acknowledge and therefrom acquit and discharge the said Charles Wallace his Heirs Executors and Administrators and every of them by these Presents have and each of them hath given granted bargained sold aliened released enfeoffed and confirmed And by these Presents do and each of them doth give grant bargain sell alien release enfeoffe and confirm unto the said Charles Wallace his Heirs and Assigns all those Tracts or Parcels of Land lying and being in Queen Ann's County containing fourteen hundred and fifty Acres more or less being the Moiety or half Part of the Island which was lately the Property of Philemon Lloyd Chew and by him devised to Margaret Bordley and the said Mary Paca and which said Moiety Tracts or Parcels of Land were lately allotted by Partition to the said Mary Paca as her Proportion and Dividend of the said Island together with all and singular the Houses Out Houses Edifices Buildings Gardens Ways Waters Water Courses Commodities Priviledges Advantages Premises and Appurtenances to the said Lands belonging or appertaining And the Reversion & Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of every Part and Parcel thereof And also all the Estate Right Title Interest Use Trust Profit Property Claim and Demand whatsoever with the Appurtenances and of into and out of every Part and Parcel of them and each and every of them To have and to hold the said Tracts or Parcels of Land and every Part and Parcel of them and each of them and Premises with the Appurtenances to him the said Charles Wallace his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper Use and Behoof of the said Charles Wallace his Heirs and Assigns In Witness whereof the said William Paca and Mary his Wife have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and affixed their Seals the Day and Year first above written Signed Sealed & delivered W.m Paca (LS) in the Presence of us R Ghiselin Mary Paca (LS) W.m Steuart |
