582 during his Life and after his Death for and to the Use of the said Mary Paca and the Heirs of her Body lawfully begotten and in Case the said Mary Paca shall die without Issue of her Body lawfully begotten then to and for the Use of the said William Paca his Heirs and Assigns forever Provided always and it is further declared and agreed by and between the said Parties by these Presents for them and their Heirs and it was the Intent and Meaning of the said Deed of Bargain and Sale herein before mentioned and recited that it shall and may be lawful for the said William Paca and Mary his Wife or the Survivor of them at the Will and Pleasure of the said William Paca and Mary his Wife or the Survivor of them by any Writing under the Hand and Seal of the said William Paca and Mary his Wife or under the Hand and Seal of the Survivor of them in the Presence of two or more Witnesses to revoke alter or change all or any of the uses herein before mentioned and to direct and appoint such other Use or Uses and for such other Person or Persons as they or the Survivor of them shall think fit to direct declare and appoint And the said Charles Wallace for himself his Heirs and Assigns doth further covenant and agree to and with the said William Paca and Mary his Wife and their respective Heirs that the said Charles Wallace and his Heirs and Assigns shall always stand and be seized to the Use of such Person or Persons and their Heirs or to such other Uses and Purposes as shall be declared limited and appointed in Manner and Form aforesaid by the said William Paca and Mary his Wife or the Survivor of them In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto set their Hands and Seals the Day and year above written Signed Sealed & Delivered Cha Wallace (LS) in Presence of us R Ghiselin W.m Paca (LS) W.m Steuart Mary Paca (LS) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorsed Viz.t Received on the thirtieth Day of July 1773 of the within named William Paca and Mary his Wife the within mentioned Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by them paid to me Witness W.m Paca R Ghiselin W.m Steuart On the 30.th Day of July seventeen hundred and seventy three came before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices for Ann Arundel County the within mentioned Charles Wallace and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the said William Paca and Mary his Wife according to the Uses Intents and Purposes as therein expressed limited and declared and according to the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and provided R Ghiselin W.m Steuart Ann Arundel County to wit These are to Certify to all whom it may in any Manner concern that William Steuart & Reverdy Ghiselin Gentlemen by & before whom the above (acknowledgment) |
