57 North sixteen degrees West fourteen Perches North Thirty four degrees West one Hundred and six Perches North Thirty seven Degrees East Ninety Perches East South East eighty eight Perches to the beginning containing one hundred and thirteen Acres and an half Acre of Land more or Less And Whereas in October Provincial Term seventeen Hundred and sixty nine a common Recovery hath been had and suffered in the Name of him the said James Dick as Plaintiff or Demandant therein against him the said Benjamin Howard Tenant of and ^for^ all that the said Tract or Parcel of Land with the Appurtenances called Yates's Inheritance lying and being in Ann Arundel County on the South side of Patapsco River containing four Hundred and Thirty Acres of Land except such part thereof as is contained within the following Boundaries and Lines to wit Beginning at a black Oak Saplin standing West North West two hundred Perches from the second bounded Tree of a Tract of Land called Harbours Harborow being formerly markt for a dividing Tree of the said Land then with a Line drawn South South West until it intersects the Last line of the aforesaid whole Tract called Yates's Inheritance then West to a Branch called Calloways Branch then with the Branch to a Line of Harborow then with the said Land to the first markt Saplin which same Recovery was had and suffered and was so intended and is hereby declared to be to the use of the aforesaid Benjamin Howard party hereto his Heirs and Assigns Now This Indenture Witnesseth that the said Benjamin Howard party hereto in Consideration of the Premises and for and in Consideration of the sum of five Shillings Sterling Money to him the same Benjamin Howard in hand paid at or before the sealing and Delivery of these Presents by the said James Russell Walter Ewer John Ewer and John Buchanan the receit whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth release acquit and discharge them the said James Russell Walter Ewer John Ewer and John Buchanan their and every of their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns by these Presents Hath granted bargained sold aliened released & confirmed and by these presents Doth grant bargain sell alien release and confirm unto them the said James Russell Walter Ewer John Ewer and John Buchanan all the said one Hundred Acres of Land herein before mentioned and Described Together with all Houses Buildings Ways Waters Water Courses Woods Underwoods Profits Commodities Emoluments Advantages Priviledges and Appurtenances whatsoever on the same being to the same belonging or in any wise Appertaining And the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof And all the Estate Right Title Interest use Trust property claim and Demand whatsoever in Law and Equity of in and to the same and every part and parcel thereof And also he the said Benjamin Howard party hereto for and upon the Consideration aforesaid Hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents Doth grant bargain and sell to them the said James Russell (Walter) John Buchanan |
