542 x.d This Indenture Made this 16.th Day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and seventy three Between Richard Henderson of Prince George's County in the Province of Maryland ^Merchant^ of the one Part and Henry Hall junior Heir at Law of Henry Hall deceased of Ann Arundel County and Province aforesaid of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Richard Henderson for and in Consideration of the Sum of Seventy three pounds ten Shillings and four pence Currency to him in Hand paid by the said Henry Hall at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and the said Henry Hall thereof and therefrom fully acquitted and discharged Hath granted bargained sold alien^e^d enfeoffed and confirmed And by these Presents Doth grant bargain sell ^alien^ enfeoff and confirm unto him the said Henry Hall his Heirs and assigns all those two Tracts or Parcels of Land lying and being in Frederick County the one Called the Range containing by Patent two hundred and ten Acres of Land More or Less the other called Millers Grove containing ninety six Acres of Land more or less together with all and singular the Houses Outhouses Edifices Buildings Profits Advantages Hereditaments and Appurtenances whatsoever to the aforesaid two tracts of Land belonging or in any wise Appurtaining or therewith used occupied or enjoyed and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of every Part and Parcel thereof and also all the Estate Right Title Interest Property Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Richard Henderson of in and to the said two Tracts of Land and Premisses and of in and to every part and Parcell thereof with their and every of their Appurtenances To have and to hold the aforesaid two Tracts of Land and all and singular other the Premisses hereby granted and confirmed or mentioned or intended so to be with their and every of their appurtenances unto him the said Henry Hall his Heirs and Assigns to the only Proper Use and Purpose whatsoever And the said Richard Henderson for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators doth covenant grant and agree to and with the said Henry Hall his Heirs and Assigns that he the said Richard Henderson his Heirs Executors and Administrators the aforesaid two tracts of Land and Premisses with their and every of their Appurtenances from and against him the said Richard Henderson & his Heirs and from and against every other Person or Persons whatsoever claiming or pretending to claim by from or under him them or any them shall and will warrant and for ever defend unto him the said Henry |
