          Maryland fs.t   This Indenture made this Fourteenth day of July
       in the year of our Lord seventeen hundred and seventy Three between William Buchanan of
       Baltimore County and province of Maryland afs.d Merchant of the one part and Legh Master
       of Frederick County and province afs.d Esquire of the other part  Witnesseth that for and
       in Consideration of the sum of seven Thousand Five Hundred pounds Sterling Money of
       Great Britain to him the said William Buchanan in hand well and truly paid by the said
       Legh Master at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof ^he^ the said
       William Buchanan doth Hereby acknowledge and confess and thereof and of and from the same
       and every part and parcel thereof doth freely clearly and absolutely acquit release exonerate
       and forever discharge the said Legh Master his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns
       and each and every of them for ever by these presents and for Divers other good causes and
       Considerations him hereunto moving he the said William Buchanan Hath Granted bargained
       sold aliened released ratified and Confirmed and by these presents Doth fully freely clearly and
       absolutely Grant bargain sell alien release ratify and confirm unto the said Legh Master his
       Heirs and Assigns for ever (in his actual possession now being by virtue of a Bargain and
       Sale to him thereof made by the said William Buchanan by Indenture bearing date the
       day next before the Day of the date of the same Indenture for the Consideration of five
       Shillings sterling therein mentioned and by force and virtue of the Statute for Transferring
       Uses into possession)  All those Tracts or parts of Tracts of Land situate lying and being in
       Frederick County and province of Maryland aforesaid commonly Known and distinguished by
       the several and respective name or names of Beauty Spot containing thirty Acres patented
       to a certain Benjamin Swope on the sixteenth day of May which was in the year of our Lord
       one thousand seven Hundred and sixty one and by him afterwards conveyed to the said William
       Buchanan  Also part of a Tract of Land called Arnolds Chance containing five Hundred and
       six Acres of Land conveyed by the said Benedict Swope to the said William Buchanan and
       which had been heretofore conveyed to the said Benedict Swope by one Mathias Ambrose
       and others by their several Deeds of Conveyance Viz.t the first from the said Matthias Ambrose
       junior by Deed bearing date the Eighteenth day of March which was in the year of our Lord
       One Thousand seven hundred and sixty one  The second from Henry Ambrose bearing date the
       sixth day June One thousand seven hundred and sixty and the third from George Matthews and
       Maria Barbara Matthews bearing date the eighteenth day of March One thousand seven
       hundred and sixty one  Also Two other Tracts of Land the one called Long Valley containing
       one hundred and one acres the other called Wilson's delight containing Forty nine acres of Land
       and both conveyed by Deed bearing date the eighteenth Day of March One thousand seven hundred
       & sixty one by William Wilson to the said Benedict Swope who afterwards reconveyed the same
       to the said William Buchanan  Also part a Tract or parcel of Land called Lookabout Containing
       one Thousand five Hundred and thirty five acres situate lying and being in Frederick County
