       several and respective ^proper^ hands writings of them these Deponents

       I Thomas Golightly Esquire Mayor of the Borough and Corporation of Liverpool in the
       County of Lancaster and Kingdom of Great Britain  Do hereby Certify to all to whom
       these presents shall come or may concern  That the above named Halbert Hanson Samuel
       Chace and John Boorn being persons well known and worth of good Credit did on this
       present Twenty eighth day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand seven
       hundred and seventy two personally came and appear before me and by solemn Oath
       which they then took upon the holy Evangelists of Almighty God did declare and depose
       that the several matters and things mentioned and set forth in the above Affidavit are true
      
       And I do hereby further Certify That at the same time personnally came &
       appeared the said Allan Pearson the party to the said Letter of Attorney hereunto annexed
       and did acknowledge that he duly executed the same before the said Halbert Hanson Samuel
       Chace and John Boorn the subscribing witnesses thereto  In Testimony and
       Confirmation whereof I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of Mayoralty
       of the said Borough and Corporation of Liverpool to be affixed this Twenty Eighth day of
       November in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy two

       Baltimore County to wit

       Came before us the Subscribers two of His Lordships Justices of the Peace of the County
       aforesaid Halbert Hanson of Baltimore Town in the County aforesaid Master and
       Mariner one of the subscribing witnesses to the power of Attorney hereunto annexed and made
       Oath on the holy Evangelists of Almighty God  That he was present and did see Allan
       Pearson of Liverpool in the County of Lancaster in the Kingdom of Great Britain in
       the said Power of Attorney mentioned sign seal and Deliver the same Power of Attorney
       as his Act and Deed for the purposes mentioned in it  And That he saw Samuel Chace and John
       Boorn two other subscribing witnesses to the same power who were also present at the
       execution of the same subscribe their names at the request of the said Allan Pearson as
       witnesses thereto
                                  Sworn to before us this 15.th day of May in the year 1773
