518 x.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made this twelveth day of April In the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and seventy three Between Samuel Owings Junior son of Samuel of Baltimore County in the Province aforesaid Farmer of the one part and Samuel Coale of the said County and Province Farmer of the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Owings Jun.r for and in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and Eighty six pounds Pensylvania Currency to him by the said Samuel Coale in hand paid the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth fully acquit and discharge the said Samuel Coale his heirs and Assigns Hath granted bargained and Sold alliend releasd and confirmd and by these presents Doth grant bargain Sell alien release and confirm unto the said Samuel Coale All that part of a tract or parcel of Land called Ohio situate Lying and being in Frederick County in the Province aforesaid which is describd by and containd within the following metes Bounds courses and Distances to wit Beginning for the same at the End of the sixth Line of a tract of Land Calld Adam's Delight and running thence North fifty four degrees East forty perches North sixty seven deg.s East Eighty Perches North fifty two degrees East fifty four perches North sixteen degrees East fourteen perches North twenty nine degrees East one hundred and forty eight Perches East ten perches to the end of the South Sixteen deg.s west one hundred and thirteen perch Line of John Jones Land being part of said tract called Ohio then North sixteen deg.s West One hundred and thirty four perch line of George Wilkes Land being part of said tract called Ohio then North Eighty Eight degrees West four perches North two degrees East Sixty perches North Eighty Eight deg.s west One hundred and ten perches South twenty nine deg.s west two hundred and Eighty seven perches South Eighty four degrees East fifty seven perches South forty nine degrees West forty five perches South five degrees West thirty perches South sixty four degrees west twenty six perches South Eighty degrees west twenty perches South fifty two degrees west thirty six perches South thirty degrees west twenty three perches South thirty two degrees west twenty one perches South fifteen degrees west fifteen perches thence by a straight line to the beginning containing and laid out for three hundred and ten acres of Land more or less Together with all Houses Buildings Orchard Fences Pastures Ways Waters Water Courses Improvements Priviledges Emoluments and Advantages to the said Land Belonging or in any wise appurtaining and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders rents and services thereof and also all the Estate, Right, Title, Interest Bennefit Claim and demand whatsoever of him the said Samuel Owings of in and to the said tract or parcel of Land above Granted and of in and to every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances To Have and To Hold the above granted Land and Premisses with their and every of their appurtenances unto the said Samuel Coale his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and Behoofe of the said Samuel Coale his heirs and assigns for Ever and to and for no other use intent or purpose and the said Samuel Owings for himself and his heirs doth hereby covenant and grant to and with the said Samuel Coale his Executors Administrators and Assigns that he the said Samuel Owings and his heirs the above granted Land and premisses with their appurtenances unto the said Samuel Coale his heirs and Assigns shall and will warrant and for ever defend against all and every person or persons claiming any thing therein either by from him the said Samuel |
