       Baltimore County (to wit) I hereby Certify that Messieurs Samuel Worthington and John
       Moale Gentlemen before whom the above Acknowledgments were made and who have thereto
       subscribed their Names were on the day of the date thereof and still are two of his Lordship the
       Right Honourable the Lord proprietary of Maryland His Justices of the Peace in and for the
       County aforesaid duly authorized and Sworn to all Certificates given by them as such
       due faith and Credit is and ought to be given as well in Courts of Justice as thereout
                                                         In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand
                            (Seal)                    and affixed the Public seal of the County aforesaid the
                                                         thirteenth day of April seventeen hundred and seventy three

          Maryland fs.t  Know all Men by these presents that we James Brooks and
       Upton Scott of the City of Annapolis Esq.rs and James Dickinson of Talbot County Esq.r are held
       and firmly bound unto the Right Honourable the Lord proprietary his Heirs and Successors
       in the full and just Sum of One Thousand Pounds Sterling to be paid to the said Lord Proprietary
       his Heirs and Successors; to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind
       ourselves our Heirs Executors and Administrators jointly and severally firmly by these
       presents Sealed with our Seals and dated this First day of May Anno Domini One
       Thousand Seven Hundred and seventy three

       The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bound James Brooks
       whilst he shall continue in the Office of Clerk to the Commissioners for emitting Bills of Credit
       shall well and faithfully observe and execute the Trust reposed in him by the Act of Assembly
       of this Province entitled "An Act for emitting Bills of Credit and other purposes therein
       mentioned" then the above Obligation to void and of none Effect otherwise to remain in
       full Force and Virtue

       the Land Records of Your Office the within Bond and after the same is so Recorded You are to deliver
       the Original to the Register in Chancery to be by him safely kept in the Chancery Office
