       On the 26.th day of April 1773  Katharine Griffith party to the within Indenture
       and acknowledged the same as his Act and Deed and the land and premisses herein
       mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the said Charles Ridgely also party thereto
       his heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within
       Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided

       Ann Arundel County to wit   I hereby Certify to all whom it may or doth Concern that
       Mess.rs John Dorsey and Thomas Dorsey Gentlemen before whom the above
       acknowledgment appears to have been taken were at the time of taking the same
       two of his Lordship the Right Honble the Lord proprietarys Justices of the peace
       for the County aforesaid and that to all Acknowledgments so made taken and by
       them signed full faith and Credit is and ought to be given as well in Justice Court
       as thereout
                                     In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and

       This Indenture made the tenth day of April in the Year of Our Lord
       seventeen hundred and seventy three  Between Thomas Cole Speagle and Rachel
       his wife Barney Binox and Ann his wife George Childs and Hannah his wife
       James Madewell and Temperance his wife and Walter James and Mary his
       wife of the first part Joseph Ensor of Baltimore County of the Second part and
       William Cooke of the City of Annapolis of the third part  Witnesseth that the
       said Thomas Cole Speagle and Rachel his wife Barney Binox and Ann his wife
       George Childs and Hannah his wife James Madewell and Temperance his wife
       and Walter James and Mary his wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of One
       hundred and fifty pounds Current Money to them in hand paid by the said Joseph
       Ensor at and before the Ensealing and delivery of these presents and also for
       barring docking and destroying all Estates Tail Reversions and Remainders
       thereon depending or expectant of and in all and singular the Lands Tenements
       and Hereditaments hereinafter mentioned expressed and declared to be hereby
       granted bargained sold released and confirmed and for settling and assuring
       the same to and for the uses intents and purposes herein declared of and
       concerning the same Have Granted Bargained sold released and
       confirmed  And by these presents the said Thomas Cole Speagle and Rachel
