480 or her part was by me examined seperate and apart from and out of the presence and hearing of her said Husband and being told that the said Deeds or Indentures were intended to Convey away all her Estate and Interest of or in the premises therein mentioned she declared that she knew and understood the same and that she executed the said Deeds or Indentures willingly and freely and without being induced thereto by the fears or threats of or ill (LS) usage by her Husband or fear of his displeasure In Testimony ^whereof^ the said Mayor have caused the Seal of the Mayoralty of the said Town of Newcastle upon Tyne to be hereunto ^put and^ affixed the twenty third day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy two John E Blackett Mayor Halbert Hanson of Baltimore Town in the province of Maryland in America Master and Mariner Samuel Chase of Swansey in the county of Bristol in the province of Massachusetts Bay in America Master and mariner and John Boorn of Dighton in the s.d County of Bristol Mariner all now resident at Liverpool in the County of Lancaster and Kingdom of Great Britain severally make oath that they were present and did see Allan Pearson of Liverpool aforesaid Merchant duly sign seal and as his Act and Deed deliver the Deed or Indenture hereunto Annexed bearing date the twenty third day of this Instant Month of November One thousand seven hundred and seventy two and made between the said Allan Pearson of the first part Robinson Wakefield of North Shields in the County of Northumberland Gentleman and Ann his wife late Ann Fell spinster only Child and Heir at Law of Edward Fell formerly of Baltimore Town in the province of Maryland in America Merchant deceased of the second part Henry Thompson of Baltimore Town aforesaid Merchant of the third part and Samuel Owings of the same place of the fourth part purporting to be a Bargain and Sale Ratification and Confirmation from the said Allan Pearson and Robinson Wakefield and Ann his wife to the said Henry Thompson and his Heirs of certain plantations Tracts or parcels of Land or Ground Messuage Tenement and other Hereditaments in the province of Maryland in America for the purpose of making the said Henry Thompson Tenant to the premise for suffering one or more Common Recovery or Recoveries of the said Messuages Tenements Lands and Hereditaments at the provincial Court of the said province of Maryland according to the usage and Custom of the said Court and declaring the uses thereof to be To or in Trust for the said Allan Pearson his Heirs and Assigns and that the Name Allan Pearson thereto subscribed set as one of the persons executing the same Deed or Indenture is of the proper hand writing of him the said Allan Pearson and these deponents further severally say that the names H.t Hanson Sam.l Chace and John Boorn signed and subscribed upon the back of the said Deed or Indenture as Witnesses to attest the Execution of the same by the said Allan Pearson are of the proper hands writing |
