470 Spinster and which said Mary and Sarah are the two only Children and Heirs at Law of Miles King late of Ilfordcombe in the said County of Devon Mariner their deceased Father who was the only Son and Heir at Law of Miles King heretofore of Ilfordcombe in the said County of Devon their deceased Grandfather who was Miles King Brother and Heir at Law of Elias King heretofore of Illfordcombe but of at is decease of the County of Kent in the Province of Maryland in North America Merchant and Planter deceased Have and each and every of us Hath made ordained constituted and appointed and in our and each and every of our Rooms and places put and deputed and by these Presents Do and each and every of us Doth make ordain constitute and appoint and in our and each and every of our Rooms and Places put and depute John Lee of Harpford in the said County of Devon Yeoman one and each and every of our true and lawful Attorney for us and in our Names respectively but to and for our respective uses and benefits to ask demand enter into and upon and take possession of recover and receive All and every the real and personal Estate and Effects whereof the said Elias King dyed seized or possessed or in or to which he was anyway entitled at his Death in North America aforesaid and to bring commence carry on and prosecute any Action or Actions Suit or Suits whatsoever in any Court or Courts of Law or Equity in North America aforesaid and to pursue continue and follow such Action or Actions Suit or Suits and such ^other^ or others as may have already been begun and are now carrying on and preventing in such Court or Courts or any ^or^ either of them for recovering and obtaining the possession and [illegible] of the said real and personal Estate and of the Rents Issues Profits and Proceeds thereof and every or any part thereof and every other Debt Duty Matter and thing whatsoever due owing coming or belonging to us or any or either of us by or from any person or persons whomsoever of or concerning the said Estate and Effects or any part thereof and the same Action or Actions Suit or Suits or any or either of them to discontinue if our said Attorney shall think fit so to do and to make any Composition Compro^mi^se or Agreement whatsoever for obtaining the Possession of the said Estate Effects and Premises or any Part thereof and to sign and execute any Deed or Deeds of Composition or other Deed or Deeds Releases acquittances and discharges for that Purpose in the Name or Names and as the Act or Deed Acts or Deeds of us or any or either of us And for the better effecting the Premises We and each and every of us Do hereby give and grant unto our said Attorney full Power and Authority to retain and employ for and our Behalfs respectively such person or Persons as our Counsel Sollicitor or Sollicitors Agent or Agents in and about the Premises and to displace him them ^any^ or either of them and to employ other or others and so from time to time to displace and replace and substitute any Person or persons as our said Attorney shall think proper And we and each and every of us do hereby give and grant unto our said Attorney full Power and Authority from time to time and at all times when and as often as any Dispute or Difference shall happen touching or concerning the premises aforesaid or any part thereof or any thing relating thereto for us and in our Names respectively to submit such Difference or Dispute to Arbitration or Umpirage And to that End to execute any Bond or Bonds of Award or Umpirage and to obey and perform the Award or Umpirage to be made in Pursuance thereof And we and each and every of us do hereby give and grant unto our said Attorney full power and Authority to do execute and perform All and every Acts Deeds and Things Act Deed and thing for accomplishing and effecting the Ends and purposes hereby intended as filly and effectually as we or any or either of us might or could do or have done if personally |
