47 On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t 18.th Sep.r 1770 Then received of the within named Elijah Bishop the Sum of five Shillings Current Money being for the Consideration within mentioned Witness Esther Sage Richard Bishop Marg.t Jane McMordie Recorded 18.th September 1770 5½ sides x.d This Indenture made the day of September in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and Seventy Between Richard Bishop of Queen Anns County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman and Mary his Wife Daughter and Heir at Law of Benjamin Boone of the County aforesaid deceased of the first part and Stephen Bordley Junior of Kent County and Province aforesaid of the second part and Elijah Bishop of Queen Anns County and Province aforesaid of the third part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the Sum of Ten Shillings Current Money to the said Richard Bishop and Mary his wife in hand paid by the said Elijah Bishop at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof they the said Richard Bishop and Mary his wife do hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and of and from every part and parcel thereof do hereby release acquit and Discharge the said Elijah Bishop his Heirs Executors and Administrators and for the docking barring and Extinguishing all Estates Taile and all Reversions and Remainders thereupon Expectant or Depending of and in the Lands Tenements and Hereditaments herein after mentioned they the said Richard Bishop and Mary his Wife (by and with the Advice and Consent of the said Stephen Bordley Junior testified by his being a party to and his Sealing and Executing These Presents Have and each of them Hath granted bargained sold aliened released and confirmed and by these Presents do and each of them doth grant bargain sell alien release and confirm unto the said Elijah Bishop (in the Actual Possession of the Lands Tenements and Hereditaments herein after mentioned now being by Virtue of a Bargain and Sale to him thereof made by the said Richard Bishop for the Consideration of five Shillings Current Money by Indenture bearing date the day next before the day of the date of these Presents for the Term of one one whole Year commencing from the day ^next before the Day^ of the date thereof and by Force of the Statute for Transfering Uses into Possession) all those Parts or Parcels of the several Tracts of Land following that is to say all that part of a Tract of Land called Oak Ridge containing one Hundred & seventy five Acres of Land Allso all that part of a Tract of Land called the Garden of Roses lying on the East Corner and South side of the Land called Oak Ridge containing one Hundred and seventy seven Acres of Land and also Fifty Acres of a Tract of Land called Boon's Hope all situate lying and being in Queen Anns County aforesaid and Devised by William Boone of Queen Anns County aforesaid to his son Benjamin Boon (the Father of the aforesaid Mary) in tail as by the Will of the said William Boone reference being thereunto had may more fully and at (Large) |
