454 X.d This Indenture made the Nineteenth Day of October in the Year of Our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy two Between William Brown of Ann Arundel County of the one part and Anthony Stewart of the City of Annapolis of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Brown for and in Consideration of the sum of Three hundred pounds sterling to him in Hand paid by the said Anthony Stewart at or before the sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receit Whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth hereby release acquit and discharge the aforesaid Anthony Stewart his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and every of them Hath granted remised released and quit claimed And by these presents Doth grant remise release and quit claimed unto the said Anthony Stewart his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that Tract or parcel of Land called Brown's Folly lying and being in Dorchester County containing Nine hundred and thirty Acres and an half acre more or less together with the appurtenances thereunto belonging And all the Estate Right Title Interest Use Trust Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said William Brown of in and to the same either in Law or Equity And all Covenants Contracts Agreements and promisses whatsoever of about touching or concerning the same To have and to hold the said Tract of Land with its Rights Members and Appurtenances to the afd Anthony Stewart his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper use and Behoof of the aforesaid Antho^n^y Stewart his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to and for no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and affixed their Seals the Day and year first above written Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence William Brown (seal) The words of him the said William brown being first interlined between the 21.st & 22.d line James Dundass On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t W.m Stewart Reced on the day and year first within written of and from the within named Anthony Stewart the Sum of Three hundred pounds Sterling being the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by him paid to him William Brown Witness Dan.l of S.t Th.s Jenifer On the second day of January 1773 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named William Brown and acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Appurtenances within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Anthony Stewart his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the True Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer 5 sides Recorded the 17.th of April 1773 x.d This Indenture made this Seventeenth Day of April in the Year Seventeen hundred and seventy three Between Jacob Winchester and Thomas Winchester of Queen Anns County of the One part and Charles Ridgely of Baltimore County of the other part Witnesseth That the said Jacob and Thomas for and in Consideration of Six hundred and twenty five pounds to them in Hand paid by the said Charles Ridgely before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof the said Jacob and Thomas doth hereby acknowledge Hath |
