       This Indenture made the second day of January in the Year of our Lord
       Seventeen hundred and seventy three  Between Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Esquire
       of the one part and Thomas Harrison of Baltimore Town in Baltimore County Gentleman
       of the other part  Whereas Charles Carroll Esq.r Deceased by his Testament and last will
       in writing bearing date on or about the first day of December seventeen hundred and
       eighteen  Amongst other things therein contained Devised all his Lands in Baltimore County
       to his Sons Charles and Daniel as also all his Mortgages as by the said Will duly proved
       and Recorded may appear  And the said Daniel Carroll by his Testament and last Will
       in writing bearing date on or abouts the twelfth day of April seventeen hundred and thirty
       four did Will and Authorize the aforesaid Charles Carroll party hereto to sell all his
       Lands which should not in any one Tract exceed five hundred Acres as by the same will duly
       proved and Recorded may Appear  Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said
       Charles Carroll party hereto for and in consideration of the Sum of fifty seven Pounds
       Sterling to him in hand paid by the said Thomas Harrison at or Before the sealing
       and Delivery of these presents the Receit whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and
       thereof and therefrom and of and from every part and parcel thereof doth release
       acquit and discharge the aforesaid Thomas Harrison, his Heirs, Executors Administrators
       and Assigns and every of them by these presents as well in his own Right as by Virtue
       of the Power and Authority herein before mentioned as also by Virtue and in Execution
       of any other and all Authority or Authorities whatsoever; Hath Granted, bargained, sold,
       Alleined, Released enfeoffed and confirmed;  And by these Presents Doth grant, bargain
       sell, alien, Release, enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said Thomas Harrison his Heirs
       and Assigns for ever all that piece or parcel of Land be the same or any part thereof cover'd     
       with Water or not and whither the same be part or parcel of the Tract of Land Called
       Coles Harbour or part or parcel of the Tract of Land called Todds Range; or be the same
       called however or distinguished by any or what name soever which is Included and
       contained within the following Boundaries, lines, Courses and distances (to wit)
       Beginning at the second bounded Tree of a Tract of Land called Mountney's Neck the
       same being the Beginning Tree of Coles Harbour; and also the Beginning Tree of Todds Range
       and Running from thence by and with the Waters of Jones's Falls and the North West Branch
       the following Courses West one perch then North fifteen Degrees East eight Perches and
       an half Perch North twelve perches then North thirty three Degrees West ten Perches
       then North fifty seven Degrees West twenty Perches then North twelve Degrees West six Perches
       then North thirteen Degrees forty five Minutes West thirty Nine Perches to the North East
       corner of Philpots Bridge thence crossing the Falls West six Perches thence by and with
       the Water of Jones's Falls and the North West Branch with the Lines of that part
       of Coles Harbour and Todds Range formerly sold by the said Charles Carroll Esq.r to
       the said Thomas Harrison the ten following Courses Viz.t South thirteen Degrees
       East thirty six Perches South sixteen Perches North seventy five and an half Degrees
       West fourteen perches North two Degrees East twenty eight Perches North twenty
       seven Degrees and a half Degree ^West ten perches North five Degrees West sixteen perches South eighty six degrees West two perches South thirty two Perches South forty nine west thirty two perches South eighty one perches [illegible] fifty three and a half degrees^ east six perch line of Baltimore Town and also
       of Lott Number fifty six; thence by and with the Water of the North West Branch and
       the Original lines of said Town North fifty three and a half Degrees West six Perches
       North seventy five West eighteen Perches North fifty five West fourteen perches North
       seventy two and a half Deg West eleven perches to the South West Corner of the Lott
       Number forty Nine on Calvert Street thence South twenty four perches on Calverts Street
