432 Received from M.rs Mary McCullock the Sum of five Shillings Sterling being the Consideration Money Within Mentioned to be by her Paid to me this Nineteenth Day of December Seventeen Hundred & Seventy Two James Dick Test Dav Love Rob.t McGacken On the Twenty third day of December Seventeen Hundred & Seventy two Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within Named James Dick and Acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Lotts within mentioned and all the Appurtenances to be the Right and Estate of the within mentioned Mary McCullock her Heirs and Assigns for ever According to the True Intent and Meaning of the Said Deed Dan.l of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Feb.y the 16.th 1773 Rec.d of M.rs Mary McCullock the sum of Nine Shillings and two pence half Penny St.g for an Ali^e^nation fine Due to Lord Baltimore by Virtue of a Commission from Dan.l of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Jn.o Brice Recorded the 18.th Day of February 1773 17 Sides Ex.d This Indenture made this Ninth day of February in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven Hundred and Seventy three Between James Disney of Annarundel County Mill wright of the one Part and Anthony Stewart of the Same County Merchant of the other Part Witnesseth that the said James Disney for and in Consideration of the Sum of Nine Pounds Nine Shillings Sterling to him in Hand Paid by the said Anthony Stewart the receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge Hath given Granted Bargained and Sold Aliened Enffeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents doth give grant bargain Sell Alien Enffeoff and Confirm unto the said Anthony Stewart his Heirs and Assigns all that Piece or Parcell of Land being Part of a Tract of Land Called Puddington Lying and being in the County aforesaid and on the South Side of the Main road leading From London Town by Welshs Mill and adjoining to a Part of the Same Tract or Piece of Land Lately bought by the said Anthony Stewart from ^Robert^ Welsh Beginning at the End of the first Line of the said Piece and continuing the Same Course East by North four Perches then North Sixty Two and one half degrees west Sixty Nine Perches and three Quarters of a Perch then South Seven & Three Quarters of a degree East six perches and five and a half Links of the chain then South then with a streight line to the Beginning Containing one Acre Two Rods and Nine Perches of Land More or Less Together with all the Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining And all the Estate Right title and Interest and Property whatsoever of him the said James Disney of in and to the same To have and to Hold the Said Piece or Parcell of Land and Premisses and every Part and Parcell thereof unto the said Anthony Stewart his heirs & Assigns for Ever to the Sole and only Proper use and behoof of the Said Anthony Stewart his heirs and assigns for Ever and ^to^ and for no other Use |
