431 On the nineteenth day of December Seventeen hundred and Seventy two Personally Appeared before the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices James Thomas and made oath on The Holy Evangels of Almighty God that he saw Christopher Court of London Merchant Sign Seal and as his Act and Deed deliver the foregoing Instrument of Writing and That he the said James Thomas and a Certain Fredrick Stone were Present at the Execution Thereof and did thereto Subscribe Their Names as Witness Sworn before W.m Hayward Recorded the 27.th Day of January 1773 7 Sides Ex.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made the Nineteenth day of December Seventeen Hundred & Seventy two Between James Dick of Annarundel County Mechant on the one Part and Mary McCullock his Eldest Daughter on the other Part Witnesseth that the said James Dick in Consideration of the Love and affection he Beareth to his Said Daughter and as Being Part of his Present Estate Intended for her and further for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling to him in hand Paid by the said Mary McCullock before the Ensealing & Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge Hath Granted Bargained sold aliened Released Enffeofd and Confirmed and by these Presents doth Grant Bargain sell alien Release enffeof and Confirm unto the said Mary McCullock her Heirs and Assigns All the severall Pieces Parcells or Parts of Land And Lotts in London Town at Present in my Possession and contigous to London Town Being part or Parts of Tracts of Land called Scorton Burge and Mitchells Cha^n^ce and Containing together about Three hundred & Fifty Acres being the same more or less or by What other Name the same may be called or Distinguished with all the Buildings on the Said severall Lotts in London Town Including my Dwelling House & every other Improvement on the above mentioned Land or Lotts Except the Brick ware House On that Part of the Land which I bought of Henry Hill with on Acre Square round it Which is Intended for my son in Law M.r Anthony Stewart To Have and to Hold All the said pieces Parcells Parts and Lotts of Land with all ^the^ Improvements Buildings Erections Gardens Priviledges Advantages and Appurtenances Whatsoever to the said Pieces Parcells Parts and Lotts of Land aforesaid belonging or in any wise Appertaining And all and Singular the Premisses hereby Bargained and Sold or Intended so to be Except as before Excepted to the said Mary McCullock her Heirs and assigns for ever And to & for the only Proper Use and behoof of her the said Mary McCullock and her Heirs or Assigns And the said James Dick for himself and his Heirs the said Premisses Hereby Bargained & Sold or Intended So to be with the Appurtenances Unto her the Said Mary McCullock and her Heirs against him the said James Dick and his Heirs And against all and every other Person or Persons Whatsoever Claiming or to claim by from or under him or Any or Either of them shall and will for ever Warrant and Defend by These Presents In Witness whereof the said James Dick hath hereunto Sett his Hand and Affixed His Seal day and year first above Written Sign'd Seal'd & Delivered in James Dick (LS) Presence of us On the Back of the foregoing Deed was Thus Endorsed Viz Dav Love Rob.t McGacken |
