(423) Conveyed and made Over the Premisses and whereas the said Margaret Murdock Hath bargained and Sold the Premisses to the Said Richard Sprigg & his Heirs for And in Consideration of the Sum of five Hundred pounds Sterling Money Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the aforesaid first Named Daniel Dulany for and in Consideration of the above Recited premisses and of the Sum of five Shillings to Him in hand paid by the Said Richard Sprigg the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath Bargained sold released & confirmed & by these presents doth Bargain And Sell release & confirm unto the said Richard Sprigg all the Right Title & Estate of the said Daniel Dulany in and to the Premisses aforesaid Above Described and & ^every^ part and parcel thereof To have and to Hold the Same and Every part & Parcel thereof to the Said Richard Sprigg his Heirs and Assigns to His & their proper use & behoof and to none other Intent or purpose In Witness whereof the said Daniel Dulany Hath to these presents affixed His hand & Seal the Day & Year first above mentioned Sealed & delivered in Presence of Grafton Dulany Geo Stewart Dan.l Dulany (LS) The above Deed was thus Endorsed to wit 20.th July 1772 The within Deed was Acknowledged this day by the within Named Daniel Dulany Esquire According to the form and effect of the Act of Assembly in Such Case Made and provided before us two of the Aldermen of the City of Annapolis Geo Stewart Walter Dulany Recorded 29.th of December 1772 4 Sides x.d Be it Known That I Charles Ham^m^ond Executor of Philip Hammond Esq.r deceased for and in Consideration that Charles Porter of Annarundel County Planter hath by the Hands of his Son John Porter well and truly Paid and Satisfied unto me the Principal and Interest Monies do and owing unto The Estate of Said Philip Hammond on his the said Charles Porter's Mortgage B^e^areing Date the Nineteenth Day of Sep.r A Dom Seventeen Hundred and Sixty one And recorded in Ann Arundel County and Records in Lib BB N.o 2 Fol 525 6 7 & 7 and amounting to one Hundred and Sixty one Pounds five Shillings and Six Pence Sterling have remised released and quit claimed and do hereby as Ex.r of Said Philips Estate remise release and quit Claim unto him the Said Charles Porter his heirs Executors and Administrators all my Right Title Interest and Estate which as Executor of Philip Hammond af.d I might in any wise claim or have of in and to all Each and Every of the Mortgaged Premises real and Personal with the appurtenances and Rights unto the same belonging To Have and to Hold ^the same^ unto him the said Charles Porter his Heirs and Executors and Administrators free and clear of all or any Claims and Demands of Same hereafter to be ^made^ by me the Said Charles |
