                                             The aforegoing  Deed was thus Endorsed (Viz.t)

       Maryland fs.t  Be it hereby Certify'd that on the seventeenth day of October in year seventeen hundred
       and seventy two personally appeared before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial
       Court the within named Robert Darnall and Sarah his wife Parties to his Deed and did severally acknowledge
       the same deed and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned and contained unto the within
       named John Henry his Heirs and Assigns for ever to and for the several Uses Intents and Purposes
       therein limitted and declared and according to the true Intent and meaning of the same Deed  And I
       further Certify that I did examine the said Sarah Darnall privately out of the hearing of her said  
       husband agreeable to the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and provided and that she declared
       and assented that she made her Acknowledgment of the same Deed willingly and freely and without
       being induced thereto by fears or threats of or ill usage by her said Husband or for fear of his
       displeasure  In Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand the Day and Year afd

       This Indenture made the Seventeenth day of October in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and seventy
       two by and between Robert Darnall of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Gentlemen
       and Sarah his wife of the one part and Jane Fishwick the Daughter of the af.d Sarah Darnall of the
       other part Witnesseth that the said Robert Darnall and Sarah his wife for and in Consideration of the
       natural Love and Affection which they have and do bear unto the said Jane Fishwick and for settling
       and assuring the several Lands and Premisses herein after mentioned after the Death of the said Sarah
       Darnall to and upon the said Jane Fishwick and her heirs as a provision and Portion for the said Jane
       and also for and in Consideration of the sum of five Shillings Sterling Money to them in hand paid by
       the said Jane at or before the sealing and delivery hereof The Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge
       and thereof do acquit and discharge the said Jane her Heirs Executors and Administrators for ever by
       these presents have given granted bargained and sold alien'd conveyed and confirmed and by
       these presents do give grant bargain & sell alien convey and confirm unto the said Jane Fishwick
       her Heirs and Assigns for ever from and after the Death of the said Sarah Darnall all that Tract of
       Land Called Ryders Prevention lying by a Marsh near the head of a Creek issuing out of Fishing bay
       called Island Creek in Dorchester County containing one hundred and fifty Eight Acres of Land more
       or less and also all that part of a Tract of Land called Weston lying in the same County which is
       included and contained within the following Meetes and Bounds to wit Beginning at the mouth of a
       Creek called Warpramanda and runing up the said Creek with the several Meanders thereof to a small
       Gut just below the saw house then up the said Gut to a Pine standing by the Main Road marked with
       twelve Notches and from the said Pine runs West North West untill it intersect the exterior Bounds of a
       Tract called Weston then by reversing the Courses of said Tract to the mouth of said Creek containing about
