399 each of them doth by these presents bargain and Sell release and Confirm unto the said John Laypold his heirs and Assigns for ever all that part of one Lot of Ground described Number fifty by the last Survey made of the City of Annapolis Beginning at the End of the North East line of the said Lot in the line of South East Street and runing with the said Street North west fifty three feet and an half then south thirty five Degrees west One hundred and nineteen feet then south East fifty three feet and an half with a Streight Line to the Beginning and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents issues and Profits thereof and all the Houses Buildings and improvements thereon and all Benefits and Advantages Whatsoever to the said Lot or parcel of Land Appertaining & belonging To have and to hold the premises with the Appurtenances to him the said John Laypold his heirs and Assigns to the only use and behooff of the said John Laypold his heirs and Assigns forever and to and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness Whereof the Parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and Deals the Day and Year above written Signed Sealed and Delivered W.m Paca (seal) in the presence of Mary Paca (seal) R Ghiselin W.m Steuart On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit Rec.d this 16.th Octob 1772 of the within named John Laypold the sum of One hundred and twenty eight Pounds Current Money being the Consideration Money within Mentioned to be by him paid to us Witness R Ghiselin W.m Steuart W.m Paca 16.th Oct 1772 Then came before us two of his Lordships Justices of the peace for Ann Arundel County the within mentioned William Paca and Mary his Wife and acknowledged the within premisses to be the right and Estate of the within mentioned Laypold and the said Mary Paca being by us privately Examined and apart and out of the presence and hearing of her Husband acknowledged that she Executed the within Deed freely and Voluntarily without any Compulsion or threats from her husband or fear of his Displeasure 5 sides R Ghiselin Recorded 17.th October 1772 W.m Steuart |
