381 and premisses with the Appurtenances to the aforesaid Robert Lawson his Heirs and Assigns In Witness whereof the partys to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above written Signed sealed and delivered Jn.o Delozier (seal) in Presence of us his Tho.s Wheeler Richard R Higgins Benjamin Wheeler Mark The aforegoing Deed was thus endorsed Viz.t Received on the Day and Year first within written of and from the within named Robert Lawson the sum of fifty pounds Current Money being the Consideration within mentioned to be by him paid to me Witness Tho.s Wheeler Jn.o Delozier Benjamin Wheeler Received on the Day and Year first within written of and from the within named Robert Lawson the Sum of five pounds Current Money being the Consideration within mentioned to be by him paid to me his Witness Tho.s Wheeler Richard R Higgins Benjamin Wheeler Mark On the twenty third Day of Sept.r 1772 came before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Charles County the within named John Delazier and Richard Higgins and did Severally acknowledge the within Instrument of Writing to be their respective Act and Deed and the Land and Appurtenances within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Robert Lawson his Heirs and Assigns forever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided Sam Hanson J Hawkins Recorded the 25.th Day of September 1772 Ex.d This Indenture made this twenty fifth Day of September in the Year seventeen hundred and Seventy two Between John Rogers of Prince Georges County of the first part Benjamin Musgrove of the same County planter of the second part and Barton Philpott of the same County Planter and Martha his Wife of the third part Whereas for the docking barring and extinguishing all Estates tail and Reversions or Remainders thereupon expectant or depending of and in the Lands and premisses herein after mentioned the said John Rogers as Demandant did heretofore (at the request Cost and Charges of the aforesaid Barton Philpott) prosecute and sue forth out of his Lordships high Court of Chancery his said Lordships Writ of Entry sur disseisin en le post against him the said Benjamin Musgrove returnable and returned to the provincial Court at Annapolis the second Tuesday of September seventeen hundred and Seventy two Whereby the said John Rogers did demand against him the said Benjamin Musgrove all that Tract or Parcell of plantable Land called Locust Thickett lying and being formerly in Charles County but now in Prince Georges County |
