354 of Indenture bearing Date the tenth Day of November in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and seventy for the Consideration therein mentioned did grant bargain and sell to the said Basil Burgess, Part of two Lotts or Parcels of Ground scituate lying and being in that Part of Baltimore Town formerly called Jones's Town and distinguished on a Platt or Draught thereof by the Numbers Thirteen and Fourteen which said Pieces or Parcels of Ground were the Residue of remaining Parts of the said Lotts of Ground then unsold by him the said Thomas Sligh And whereas Daniel Chamier Esquire of Baltimore Town for and on Behalf of the above named Sampson Levy hath purchas'd all the said Bazil Burgess his Estate, Right, Title and Interest of in to and out of the said Pieces or Parcels of Ground for the Sum of one hundred ad forty two Pounds Sterling Money unascertained as they are Now this Indenture therefore witnesseth that the said Bazil Burgess for and in Consideration of the aforesaid Sum of one hundred and forty two Pounds Sterling Money to him in Hand paid by Daniel Chamier for and on Behalf of the said Sampson Levy the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth acquit & discharge the said Sampson Levy and his Assigns Hath granted bargained and sold and by these Presents doth grant bargain & sell unto him the said Sampson Levy all those two Pieces or Parcels of Ground abovementioned being the unsold Residue or remaining Part of the two Lotts or Parcels of Ground above describ'd together with all Buildings, Improvements, Ways, Passages, Easements, Priviledges and Advantages to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining and the Reversion and Reversions, Remainder and Remainders, Rents & Services of the said Premisses and every part thereof And all the Estate, Right, Title, Interest, Use Trust Property Claim and Demand of him the said Bazil Burgess of in to and out of the said Parcels of Ground and Premisses and every Part thereof to have and to hold the said two Pieces or Parcels of Ground and Premisses with their Appurtenances unto him the said Sampson Levy his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper Use and Behoof of the said Sampson Levy (his) |
