344 other And I hereby certify that at the Time of taking the Acknowledgment of the same Elizabeth Williams I examined her privately out of the Hearing of her said Husband whether she made her Acknowledgment of the same willingly and freely & without being induced thereto by Fear or Threats of or ill Usage by her Husband or Fear of his Displeasure and that she then declared she made (and She did make) her Acknowledgment of the same willingly and freely & without being induced thereto by Fears or Threats of or ill Usage by her Husband or Fear of his Displeasure Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Rec.d the 1.st Day of August 1772 Ex.d Maryland fs.t Know all Men by these Presents that I Ephraim Howard of A A County in the Province aforesaid am held and firmly obliged to Charles Hammond of the said 2½ sds County in the full & just Sum of three hundred Hundred Pounds Current Money to be paid to the said Charles Hammond his Attorney Executors or Administrators To which Payment well and faithfully to be made I oblige myself my Heirs Executors & Administrators firmly by these Presents sealed with my Seal this thirteenth Day of May one thousand seven Hundred & Seventy two The Condition of this Obligation is such that if the above bounded Ephraim Howard his Heirs Executors & Administrators for his & their Parts & Behalfs do in all Things well & truly stand to, obey, abide by, ^perform^ fulfil & keep the Award, Order, Abritement final End and Determination of Samuel Snowden John Dorsey ^Richard Shipley^ John Hood Sen.r Robert Davis, Adam Shipley Basil Burgess, William Coale & Charles Ridgely son of William Arbitrators indifferently named elected & chosen (or any five of them) as well on the Part & Behalf of the above bounded Ephraim Howard as of the above named Charles Hammond to arbitrate award order judge and determine of and concerning the Lines of a Tract of Land called Talbots Resolution Manor between the said Parties and to fix a Boundary wherever it appears that the S l Line of the said Tract shall or may extend & all Manner of Action or Actions, Cause & Causes of Actions, Suits, Bills, Bonds, Specialties, Judgments Executions, Extents, Quarrels, Controversies, Trespasses, Damages and Demands whatsoever at any Time or Times heretofore had, made, moved, brought, commenced, sued, prosecuted, done, suffered, committed or depending by or between the said Parties so as the said Award be made and given (up) |
