339 of the said Charles Grahame and Anthony Stewart also Parties ther^e^to their Heirs and Assigns forever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided Benjamin Rogers Recorded 1.st Day of August 1772 And Buchanan X.d This Indenture made this nineteenth Day of March in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy two Between James Williams of the City of Annapolis Merchant and Elizabeth 7 sds Williams his Wife of the one Part and Alexander Contee Hanson of the same Place of the other Part Witnesseth that the said James Williams and Elizabeth Williams his Wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings sterling Money to them in Hand paid by the said Alexander Contee Hanson at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Have granted bargained and sold and by these Presents do grant bargain & sell unto the same Alexander Contee Hanson his Executors Administrators and Assigns all that Lott or Portion of Land which was heretofore to Wit on or about the twelfth Day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty eight bargained & sold by a certain Agnes Gordon late of Ann Arundel County to John Anderson late of the City of Annapolis deceased as appears by the Deed thereof then bearing Date which is recorded in the Secretarys Office of the Province of Maryland aforesaid Reference being thereto had which said Lott or Portion of Land lies in Ann Arundel County & is Part of a Lott or Lotts of Land lying in the City of Annapolis afd called and known by the Name of Nicholsons Lott as also of another Portion or Lott of Land adjoyning to the former granted to a certain Robert Gordon by Virtue of an Act of Assembly bearing Date the twenty sixth Day of October seventeen hundred and twenty three called the Sand Bank Which said Lott or Portion of Land is also contained within the following Courses viz.t Begining at a certain Post standing in a certain Lott lying in the City of Annapolis af.d called Nicholson's Lott and the Sand Bank (being a Lott or Portion of Land contigious to the said Nicholsons Lott) af.d South East Seventy one Feet to high Water Mark of the said Nicholson Cove unto a third Post and runing from this third Post by and with high Water Mark of the af.d Cove North forty two Degrees East eighty three feet to a fourth Post then runing from this fourth Part North forty (Degrees) |
