329 X.d This Indenture made the twenty fifth day of Mary in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy two Between James 11 sides 4s Dick of Ann Arundel County and Province of Maryland Merchant of the one part and Lancelot Jacques Upton Scott Nicholas Maccubbin Nathan Hammond and James Brice of Ann Arundel County and Province aforesaid Gentlemen Trustees of the Poor for Ann Arundel County of the other part Witnesseth that the said James Dick for and in consideration of the Sum of One hundred and seventy five pounds Sterling to him in hand paid at or before the unsealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath Given Granted Bargained sold Aliened Remised Released and Confirmed and by these presents Doth Give Grant Bargain sell alien Remise Release and Confirm unto them the said Lancelot Jacques Upton Scott Nicholas Maccubin Nathan Hammond and James Brice and their Successors Trustees of the Poor for Ann Arundel County for ever All that piece or parcel of Land part of a Tract of Land called Todds Range situate lying and being in the County aforesaid near the City of Annapolis Beginning for the part hereby conveyed or intended so to be at a stone fixed near a large poplar Tree on the south side of the Road leading from Annapolis to Baltimore it being a Boundary of a piece of Land laid off for Alexander McDonald close to which there is another stone now fixed marked The Beginning of the Poors Lott 1770 and running thence North Eighty four Degrees West thirty one Perches to another stone marked 2.d Poors Lott thence North sixteen Degrees West Forty four perches and four Links until it intersects the south seventy four and one half Degrees East line of Norwoods Beall at the distance of one hundred and Ninety and one quarter Perches from the place where Todd White Oak formerly stood where there is now a stone fixed marked 3.d Poors Lott thence south seventy four and one half Degrees East Thirty three Perches and Eighteen Links and three quarters of a Link then with Norwoods Beall across Bealls Branch North Forty three Degrees East fourteen Perches thence East by South Eight Perches to the head of Dorseys Creek thence crossing the head of the said creek to the south Bank South Thirty Nine and one half Degrees East three perches and seven Links then with the said Bank South seventy two Degrees West six Perches and thirteen Links thence still with the Bank south Fifty one and one half Degrees West five and one half perches thence so as to include a Gully leading from a rom of poplar Trees by a streight Line to the original Begining containing and now laid out for Nine Acres and thirteen Perches of Land more or less together with all and singular the Houses Buildings and other Improvements to the said Nine Acres and thirteen Perches of Land belonging or in any wise appertaining and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Proffits thereof and of every part and parcel thereof |
