319 James Key and by him secured to be paid at and before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof the said Prior Theobald hereby acknowledgeth and him the said James Key thereof doth forever exonerate and discharge by these presents and for barring cutting off and destroying all and all Manner of Estate and Estates Tail Remainders and Reversions of and in the Tracts and Parcels of Land and parts of Tracts peices and parcels of Land Tenements and Hereditaments herein after mentioned and for granting settling and assuring of the same to and for the Use Intent and purpose herein after mentioned The said Prior Theobald hath granted bargained sold aliened released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien release and confirm unto the said James Key and his Heirs and Assigns All these Tracts and parts of Tracts pieces and parcels of Land following to wit all that Tract of Land lying and being in Charles County aforesaid Planters Delight containing one hundred Acres of Land more or less all that Tract of Land called Prior's Beginning containing twelve Acres of Land more or less and lying in the County aforesaid all that parcel or Tract of Land being part of a Tract of Land lying in the County aforesaid called Saint Nicholas beginning at a bounded White Oak the beginning Tree of the aforesaid Tract of Land called Saint Nicholas running thence North eighty perches thence West seventy two perches to the Main Road that leads from the Head of Port Tobacco Creek to Promfret in the said County thence running and binding with the said Road as it now runneth North twenty five Degrees West Sixty eight perches thence West till ^it^ intersects the North Line of the same Tract thence South to a bounded Red Oak of the same Tract thence to the Beginning containing one hundred Acres of Land more or less And all that parcel or Tract of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Bettys Delight lying in the County aforesaid beginning at the second bound Tree of the same Tract of land called Bettys Delight and running thence North East and by East one hundred and thirty seven perches to a bounded Spanish Oak being the third bound Tree of the same Tract thence North West and by North thirty eight perches to a bounded Spanish Oak the fourth bound Tree of the same Tract Thence North East eighteen perches to a bounded Red Oak of the Land formerly of a certain M.r Causen called Saint Nicholas Then East binding on the said Land called Saint Nicholas one hundred and thirty perches to a bounded white oak the bound Tree of M.r Causeen aforesaid and M.r Job Chandler being the last bound Tree of the said Tract of Land called Bettys Delight and where a stone now is fixed and set up thence South binding on the said Charndler 'till it comes to the Boundary or End of the East and third Course of that part of the said Tract of Land called Bettys Delight formerly conveyed by the Name of Lancaster by a certain Thomas Corker to a certain John Hanson of the County aforesaid and lately in the Tenure and Occupation of (a) |
