302 by the Name of Rehoboth on the North West Fork of Nanticoke as by the said Will recorded in the Commissary's Office may now fully appear and which Land the said John and George Lee by a former Deed bearing Date the Day of conveyed to the said Lettice Thomson but which was omitted to be registered according to the Directions of the Law in such Cases provided And the Reversion and Reversions remainder and Remainders of all and singular the said six hundred Acres of Land and Premisses hereby granted, and every Part and Parcel thereof And also all the Estate, Right, Title, Interest, Property, Claim and Demand whatsoever both in Law and Equity of them the said John Lee and Susanna his Wife, and George Lee and Chloe his Wife or either of them of in, to, or out of the said Land Premisses and every part and Parcel thereof To have and to hold the said Six hundred Acres of Land and all other the Premisses hereby granted, bargained or sold or mentioned or intended so to be with their and every of their Appurtenances unto the said Lettice Thomson her Heirs and Assigns ^To the only proper Use and Behoof of her the said Lettice Thomson her Heirs and Assigns^ forever And the said John Lee and George Lee do for themselves and their Heirs hereby grant that they and their Heirs the Land and Premises afores.d and all and singular other the Premisses hereby granted or mentioned to be granted and every Part and Parcel thereof with all and singular their and every of their Rights Members and Appurtenances unto the said Lettice Thomson her Heirs and Assigns against the said John Lee and George Lee and their Heirs and all other Person and Persons whatsoever claiming by from or under them shall and will warrant and forever defend by these Presents In Witness whereof the said John Lee and Susanna his Wife and George Lee and Chloe his Wife have hereunto set their Hands and affixed their Seals the Day and Year first above written Sealed and delivered in J Hepburn John Lee (L S) the Presence of us Alex.r Symmer Geo Lee (L S) (On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorsed Viz) Received on the Day of the Date of the within written Indenture the Sum of fifty Pounds Inspection Currency of Maryland it being in full for the Consideration Money for the Land and Premises within mentioned to be paid to me by the within named Lettice Thomson Witness my Hand John Lee Witness J Hepburn Received on the Day of the Date of the within written Indenture of and from the within named Lettice Thomson the Sum of one hundred Pounds Inspection Currency of Maryland it being it full for the Consideration Money for the Lands and Premises within mentioned to be paid to me Witness my Hand Witness J Hepburn Geo Lee Prince Georges County March 9.th 1772 Then came John Lee and George Lee Parties of the within Deed and acknowledged the same to be their Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the right Title and Estate of the within mentioned Lettice Thomson Her Heirs and Assigns forever Taken and acknowledged before me one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial Court J Hepburn Recorded the 26.th Day of March 1772 x.d This Indenture made the twenty fifth Day of March in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred seventy ^and^ two Between Lettice Thomson of Prince Georges County in the Province of 8 sides Maryland Widow of the one Part and John Waters of Calvert County in the Province aforesaid Gentleman of the other Part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the Sum of six hundred Pounds common circulating Money of Maryland to the said Lettice Thomson paid by the said John Waters at or before the Ensealing and delivery of these Presence the Receipt whereof she doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every Part and Parcel thereof doth exonerate acquit and discharge the said (John) |
