       of Lease & Release Referrence being thereto had might amongst other Things more fully and at
       large appear   That Whereas after the Death of the said James Wardrop that is to say on the
       twenty second Day of July seventeen hundred & sixty one at three of the Clock in the afternoon
       tenour of the same Day he the same John Buchanan did set up & expose to Sale by Way
       of Public Vendue at the House of John Orrick at the Sign of the Kings Arms in Baltimore Town
       in Baltimore County afores.d  All the said undivided fourth Part or Share of & in the Several
       Tracts or Parcells of Lands Hereditaments & Premises Mines Oar Works Houses Tenements Erections
       Buildings Cattle Forges Goods Utensils Implements Stock Negroes & other Things Ways Waters Water
       Courses Plantations Trees Woods Under Woods Commons Common of Pasture Profits Commodities
       Rights Liberties Advantages & Appurtenances Public Notice of the Time & Place of the said
       Vendue being first given by      weeks successive Advertisements thereof in the Maryland
       Gazette at which Vendue the aforesaid James Dick was the best & highest Bidder at &
       for the Price & Sum of Four thousand four hundred & seventy eight Pounds nine Shillings
       & seven Pence Sterling the said John Buchanan for the Consideration of the last af.d Sum
       of Sterling Money to him paid by the same James Dick at or before the Sealing & Delivery
       of the said Indenture did grant bargain & sell assign transfer set over alien
       release & confirm unto the said James Dick his Heirs & Assigns all the said undivided fourth
       Part or Share of & in the said several Tracts or Parcells of Land Hereditaments & Premises
       Mines Oar Works Houses Tenements Erections Buildings Cattle Forges Goods Utensils
       Implements Stocks Negroes & other Things Ways Waters Water Courses Plantations Trees
       Woods under Woods Commons Common of Pasture Profits Commodities Rights Liberties Advantages
       & Appurtenances therein before mentioned to have been granted bargained sold assigned
       transferred set over aliened remised released & confirmed by the said James Wardrop
       to the af.d John Buchanan as af.d & by the said James Dick purchased at the said
       Vendue as before mentioned  And Whereas the same James Dick & John Buchanan
       have since the Execution of the afd Indenture between the said John Buchan & James
       Dick stipulated contracted & agreed for the Consideration hereafter expressed for the
       said undivided fourth Part or Share of & in the said several Tracts or Parcells of Lands
       Hereditaments & Premises Mines Oar Works Houses Tenements Erections Buildings
       Cattle Forges Goods Utensils Implements Stock Negroes & other Things Ways Waters
       Water Courses Plantations Trees Woods Under Woods Commons Common of Pasture Profits
       Commodities Rights Liberties Advantages & Appurtenances before mentioned

                   Now This Indenture Witnesseth that the same James Dick
       for & in Consideration                                                             of the sum
       of four thousand four hundred & seventy eight Pounds nine Shill.s & seven
       Pence Sterling by the said John Buchanan to the said James Dick in Hand
       paid at or before the Sealing & Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof
