283 four hundred & thirty one Acres of Land be the same more or less Together with all & singular the Houses & all other the Improvements Conveniencys & Advantages to the said Tract or Part of a Tract of Land belonging or in any Manner of Way Appertaining To have & to hold the said Tract or Part of a Tract of Land & Premises with their & every of their Appurtenancy's unto him the said Richard Wootton his Heirs & Assigns for ever to the only proper Use & Behoof of him the said Richard Wootton his Heirs & Assigns & to no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever And the said William Littlefields doth for himself his Heirs Executors & Administrators covenant promise grant & agree to & with the said Richard Wootton his Heirs & Assigns that he the said William Littlefields & his Heirs the aforesaid Tract or Part of a Tract of Land & Premises with their & every of their Appurtenances unto him the said Richard Wootton & his Heirs & Assigns against him the said William Littlefields & his Heirs as also against all or any other Person or Persons claiming by from or under him them or any of them shall & will warrant & for ever defend by these Presents unto him the said Richard Wootton his Heirs & Assigns for ever In Testimony whereof the said William Littlefields hath hereunto set his Hand & ^affixed his^ Seal the Day & Year first above written William Littlefield (Seal) Signed Sealed & delivered In the Presence of us (The word "Degree" interlined in the thirty second Line before executing these Presents) Andrew Heugh Alex.r Offutt On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus endorst to wit Frederick County November 12th 1771 Then came William Littlefields before us two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid & acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act & deed & the Land & Premises therein mentioned to be the Right Title & Estate of the within named Richard Wootton his Heirs & Assigns for ever according to the true Intent (&) |
