264 the same belonging or in any wise appertaining And the Revertion & Revertions Remainder & Remainders Rents Issues & Profits of them & each of them And all the Estate Right Title Interest Use Trust Possession Property Claim & Demand whatsoever of him the said Edward Stevenson of in & to the said two Tracts or Parcels of Land & each of them & every Part & Parcel of them & each of them To have & to hold the said two Tracts or Parcels of Land with them & each of their Rights Members & Appurtenances to him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assigns to the only proper Use & Behoof of the aforesaid Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assigns for ever & to or for no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever And the said Edward Stevenson for himself his Heirs Executors & Administrators doth hereby covenant & grant to & with the aforesaid Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assigns that he the said Edward Stevenson & his Heirs the said two Tracts or Parcels of Land with their & each of their Rights Members & Appurtenances to him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assigns from & against all manner of Persons whatsoever shall & will warrant & for ever defend Provided always that if the aforesaid Edward Stevenson his Heirs Executors or Administrators do & shall well & truly pay or cause to be paid to the aforesaid Charles Carroll his Heirs Executors Adm.rs or Assigns the said Sum of six hundred & thirteen Pounds seven Shillings & four Pence Sterling on or before the twenty eighth Day of June which will be in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & seventy eight & shall also yearly & every Year pay to the aforesaid Charles Carroll his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns legal Interest on the said Sum of six hundred & thirteen Perches seven Shillings & four Pence Sterling then this Indenture & every Clause Matter & Thing therein contained shall cease & be void And the said Edward Stevenson for himself his Heirs Executors & Administrators doth hereby covenant & grant to & with the aforesaid Charles Carroll his Executors Administrators & Assigns that he the said Edward Stevenson his Heirs Executors & Adm.rs the aforesaid Sum of six hundred & thirteen Pounds seven Shillings & four Pence Sterling with legal Interest thereon according to the Provisoe aforesaid & at the respective Times therein mentioned to him the said Charles Carroll his Exts Adm.rs or Assigns will well & truly pay In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands & affixed their Seals the Day & Year ^first^ above written Signed Sealed & delivered Edward Stevenson (seal) in the Presence of Will Deards Henry Sibell On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus endorsed to wit Received on the Day & Year first within written of & from the within named Charles Carroll Esquire the Sum of six hundred & thirteen Pounds seven Shillings & four Pence Sterling being (the) |
