251 by and between the said Parties to these Presents for themselves and every of them their & every of their Heirs that the said Recovery so as aforesaid or in any other Manner to be had and suffered of the said Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Premises above mentioned shall be and enure and shall be deemed adjudged and taken and is meant and intended and by the Parties to these Presents is hereby declared to be and enure and the said William Hall and his Heirs from and immediately after suffering the same shall stand and be seized of all and singular the said Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Premises abovementioned and every Part and Parcel thereof with the Appurtenances to and for the only proper Use and Behoof of the said William Hall his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to and for no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto put their Hands and Seals the Day and Year above written William Hall (seal) Sealed and delivered Benjamin Rumsey (seal) in Presence of us Amos Garrett Recorded the 28th Day of September 1771 Alienation List made and thus far X.d This Indenture made this twenty eighth Day of Septem.r Seventeen hundred and seventy one Between Richard Henderson of Bladensburgh in Prince Georges County Maryland of the one Part and William Magruder Selby of the same County Planter of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Richard Henderson for and in Consideration of five Shillings Sterling to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold and by these Presents he the said Richard Henderson doth bargain and sell unto the said William Magruder Selby his Heirs and Assigns all that Part of a Tract of Land in Frederick County called Fat Oxen which by the said William Magruder Selby was conveyed to the said Richard Henderson on the twenty first Day of May seventeen hundred and sixty two as by the Provincial Court Land Records Liber D D N.o 2 Folio 49 and 50 will appear containing ninety eight Acres more or less with all the Appurtenances to the same belonging To have and to hold the said Land & Appurtenances unto the said William Magruder Selby his Heirs and Assigns and the said Richard Henderson doth covenant and agree to and with the said William Magruder Selby that he the said Richard Henderson will warrant and defend the Land hereby conveyed unto (the) |
