249 and now layd out for two hundred Acres of Land together with all Woods under woods, Timber & Timber Trees, Houses and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Land belonging or any ways appertaining To have and to hold the said the said two hundred Acres of Land with all & singular the Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any ways appertaining unto him the said Colder Haymond his Heirs & Assigns for ever And the said Nicholas Dorsey for himself his Heirs and Assigns doth covenant & agree to & with the said Colder Haymond his Heirs & Assigns the the said Nicholas Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns the said granted Land laid out for two hundred acres as aforesaid unto the said Colder Haymond his Heirs and Assigns shall & will for ever warrant and defend by these Presents and also shall & will at the Request and at the Cost & Charges in the Law of the said Colder Haymond his Heirs and Assigns do make acknowledge suffer & execute any Deed or Instrument as the said Colder Haymond his Heirs & Assigns or his or their Council learned in the Law shall reasonably advise devise or Require for the further and better Assurance Surety or suremaking the said Land & Premises unto him the said Colder Haymond his Heirs & Assigns for ever & that the said Colder Haymond his Heirs & Assigns shall and may for ever & at all Times hereafter peaceably & quietly hold, have, use, occupy, possess & enjoy the said Land & Premises without the Let, Suit, Trouble or Disturbance of him the said Nicholas Dorsey or of any other Person claiming under the said In Witness whereof the said Nicholas Dorsey hath hereunto set his Hand & Seal the Day & Year above written Signed Sealed and delivered Nichs Dorsey (Seal) In Presence of Thomas Dorsey Jn.o Dorsey On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus endorsed to wit Memorandum That on the 29th Day of January Anno Domini seventeen hundred and seventy one came the within named Nicholas Dorsey and acknowledge the within mentioned Land & Premises to be the Right and Estate of the within Colder Haymond his Heirs & Assigns for ever Also Elizabeth his wife being privately examined out of the Hearing of her said Husband acknowledge her Right of Dower to the same Land to be the Right and Estate of him the said Colder Haymond his Heirs & Assigns for ever & did the same of her own free will & voluntary Consent without being compelled thereto by any Threats from her said Husband or Fear of his Displeasure taken & acknowledged according to the true Intent and meaning of the within Deed & the Act of Assembly made & provided Before Thomas Dorsey Jn.o Dorsey Recorded the 26th Day of Sept.r 1771 |
