       the Management of the said Alexander Hamilton any Manner of Way whatsoever
       nothing excepted or reserved & whether owing by Bonds Bills Notes Decrees or Judgements
       at Law Bargains Sales Mortgages Accounts or otherways and to adjust & settle
       the same And to have use prosecute and take all lawful Ways and Means whatsoever
       for the Recovery thereof or any Part of the same and Acquittances Receipts & other sufficient
       Discharges Assignments of or for the same or any Part thereof for us & in
       our Name to make Seal duly execute & deliver and to compound compromise conclude
       and agree for the same or any Part thereof by submitting and referring to arbitration
       or otherways as our said Attorney shall think most expedient and for us to appear
       & our Persons to represents in all or any Court or Courts of Judicatory or other Places in
       Virginia or Maryland aforesaid as Plaintiffs Defendants or Appellants in all & every
       Action or Actions and Prosecutions at Law to be therein brought sued or prosecuted for
       or concerning the Premises or any Part thereof and for us ^to^ manage direct and govern
       all or Businesses and Affairs in and concerning our Store and trading Business at
       Piscataway aforesaid and generally to do execute perform and transact all and every
       other Acts Deeds Matters or Things whatsoever in and concerning the Premises which
       our said Attorney shall think requisite and necessary as fully freely & effectually in
       every Respect and to all Intents and Purposes whatsoever as we might or could do in
       proper Person & as if we actually did the same ourselves, and Attornies one or more
       under him our said Attorney for the Purposes aforesaid all or any of them & with
       the like unlimited Powers to make & substitute & again at his Pleasure to revoke
       from Time to Time as he shall judge necessary  Hereby ratifying confirming
       & allowing as firm & valid all & whatsoever our said Attorney or his Substitute or
       Substitutes shall lawfully do or cause to be done in or about the Premises by
       Virtue of these Presents  In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our Hands &
       Seals at Glasgow aforesaid the ninth Day of May in the Year of our Lord Christ
