234 his Wife Parties to the Deed hereunto annexed and did severally acknowledge that they did severally sign seal as and for their several and respective Act and Deed in due Form of Law deliver the said Deed to and for the Uses therein mentioned And the said Hannah being by me secretly and apart from the said Anthony Richardson her Husband examined touching her Consent to the said Deed acknowledged & declared that she did execute the same of ^her^ own free will & Consent without Fear or Compulsion of or from her said Husband or any other Person In Faith and Testimony whereof I the said Lord Mayor have caused the Seal of the Office of Mayoralty of the said City of London L S to be hereunto put & affixed and the said Deed mentioned and referred to also in and by the said Affidavit to be hereunto annexed Dated in London the fourteenth Day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy Hodges Richard Atkinson of the Inner Temple London Gentleman maketh Oath that he did this Day see Anthony Richardson and Hannah his wife in the annexed Letter of Attorney named severally sign seal and as their separate Act and Deed deliver the same Letter of Attorney in the Presence of Anthony Bacon of the City of London Esquire and this Deponent And this Deponent saith that the Names Ant.o Richardson Hannah Richardson set & subscribed to the said Letter of Attorney as the Parties executing the same and the Names Antho Bacon Rich.d Atkinson thereto also set and subscribed as Witnesses to attest the Execution thereof are of the proper Hand Writing of the said Anthony Richardson Hannah his wife Anthony Bacon and this Deponent respectively Rich.d Atkinson Sworn at the Mansion House the 14th Day of August 1771 Before Barlow Frecothick Mayor Recorded the 20th Day of September 1771 X.d To all to whom these Presents shall come I John Gordon of Prince Georges County Mariner son and Heir of George Gordon late of the same County deceased send Greeting Know Ye, That Whereas my late Father in his Lifetime did on or about the twenty third Day of August seventeen hundred and sixty five agree with and sell unto John Rhodes and Geo Rhodes of Frederick County Farmers two certain Tracts or Parcells of Land lying in Frederick County called (and) |
