208 or Assigns make do and execute any such further Act Deed or Assurance as he shall be request for the better and more effectual conveying and assuring the said Premises to the aforesaid James Dick his Heirs and Assigns so as such further Act Deed or Assurance contain no Warranty or other Covenant than is herein contained In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and affixed their Seals the Day and Year first above written Anthony Stewart (seal) Signed Sealed & delivered in the Presence of us James Dundass Phil Key On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus endorst to wit Received on the Day and year first within written of and from the within named James Dick the sum of fifty six Pounds Pennsylvania Current Money it being the Consideration within mentioned to be by him paid to me I say received by me Anthony Stewart Witness James Dundass Phil Key On the first Day of May 1771 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Anthony Stewart and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Piece or Parcel of Ground with the dwelling houses and all other Houses Buildings Gardens Ways Waters Priviledges Easements and Advantages therein mentioned with the Appurtenances to be the Right and Estate ^of the^ within named James Dick his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided J. B. Bordley Received of M.r James Dick the sum of one penny Sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore it being the Alienation Money on the within Land by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and receiver General J Brice Recorded this 19th Day of August 1771 X.d This Indenture made this thirteenth of January in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty nine Between Anthony Stewart of the City of Annapolis in Ann Arundel County Merchant of the ^one Part and James Dick of Ann Arundel County aforesaid Merchant of the^ other Part Witnesseth that the same Anthony Stewart for and in Consideration of the Sum of Seventy five Pounds ten Shillings Current Money to him in hand paid by the same James Dick before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath granted bargained sold aliened released enfeoffed and confirmed and by these Presents Doth grant bargain sell alien release enfeoff and confirm unto the same James Dick his Heirs and Assigns one undivided Moiety or half part of all that Tract of Land called Dinahs Good Will containing three hundred and fourteen Acres of Land more or less scituate lying and being in Frederick County together with all and singular the Edifices Buildings Gardens Orchards Ways Waters Water Courses Commodities Priviledges Improvements Advantages and Appurtenances ^whatsoever^ to the belonging or in any wise appertaining and the Reversion and Reversion Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of every Part thereof and also all the Estate Right Title Interest Use Trust Property Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Anthony Stewart of into or out of one undivided Moiety or half Part of the Tract of Land aforesaid (To) |
