                                        On the Back of the aforegoing Assignment of Lease was thus Endorsed to wit

       Received on the Day and Year first within written of and from the within named James Dick and Robe^r^t
       Couden the sum of twenty Pounds Sterling being the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by them
       paid to me                              I say received by                           Anthony Stewart

       On the fourth Day of July 1771 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordship's Provincial Justices the within
       named Anthony Stewart and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed according
       to the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided

          Maryland fs.t   This Indenture made this 26th Day of April in the Year of our Lord
       one thousand seven hundred and seventy one, Between Andrew Theodore Bourdillion of London eldest Son and Heir     
       at Law of Benedict Bourdillion late of Baltimore County in the Province aforesaid Clerk deceased William Benedict
       Bourdillion, Thomas Jacob Bourdillion of London second and third Sons of the said Benedict Bourdillion and Jane Bourdillion
       of London Widow and Relict of the said Benedict Bourdillion by Daniel Dulany Barrister at Law and Walter
       Dulany of the City of Annapolis Esquire their and each of their Attorneys on the Behalf, duly constituted of the one
       Part and Henry Dorsey Gough of Baltimore Town in the County aforesaid Gentleman of the other Part  Whereas
       the said Andrew, Theodore, William Benedict, Thomas Jacob and Jane Bourdillion by their Letter or Instrument of
       Attorney duly made, executed and approved bearing Date on or about the twenty fourth Day and February in the
       Year seventeen hundred and sixty four ^did^ jointly and severally authorize, constitute and Appoint the aforesaid Daniel
       Dulany and Walter Dulany their Attorney and Attorneys, to treat for, agree, dispose of, sell, convey and assure all
       Lands ^Tenements^ Hereditaments and Chattels and belonging unto them or wherein or whereunto they or either of them had any
       Right, Title Interest or Claim either in Law or Equity situate and being in the Province of Maryland, and all
       and every Sum and Sums of Money which should or might arise or be receiv'd upon or under such Agreement or Sale
       by the said Daniel Dulany and Walter Dulany or either of them to remit and pay unto William Janssen of Chestnut
       in the County of Hartford in England Esquire, for and on Behalf of them the said Andrew Theodore, William Benedict, Thomas
       Jacob, and Jane Bourdillion, and did also thereby authorize and impower their said Attorneys and each of them and
       and the Survivor of them to do, act, and execute every other necessary Matter and Thing in and concerning the Premises
       ratifying and thereby confirming whatever their said Attorneys or either of them shou'd lawfully act and do therein
       as by the said Letter now remaining among the Records of the Provincial Court Relation being thereto had will now
       fully appear  And Whereas the said Daniel Dulany and Walter Dulany in Pursuance and Virtue of the said
       Letter or Instrument of Attorney and by and under the Authority thereof have agreed on the Part and Behalf of their
       said Constituents for and in Consideration of the Sum of fourteen hundred and eighty pounds sixteen Shillings Sterling
       in Bills of Exchange to sell unto the said Harry Dorsey Gough all those six Lotts or Parcells of Ground situate lying
       and being in Baltimore Town aforesaid on the west Side of Jones's Falls distinguished on a Platt of the said Town by the
       Numbers, Fifteen, Sixteen, twenty one, twenty two, twenty six and thirty five which are described by and contained
       within the Metes, Bounds, Courses and Distances herein after spe^c^ified  Now This Indenture Witnesseth
       that they the said Andrew Theodore Bourdillion; William Benedict Bourdillion; Thomas Jacob Bourdillion
       and Jane Bourdillion & each of them for and in Consideration of the aforesaid Sum of fourteen hundred & eighty
       Pounds sixteen Shillings in hand paid or secured to be paid before the Ensealing and Delivery of these
       Presents Have & Hath granted, bargain'd & sold, alien'd, releas'd, enfeoffed & confirmed and by these Presents
       Do & each of them Doth grant, bargain & sell, alien, release, enfeoff and confirm unto him
