185. X.d This Indenture made this thirty first Day of May seventeen hundred and seventy one Between Priscilla Wickham, Relict of Nathaniel Wickham late of Frederick County deceased, of the one part, and Nathaniel Wickham of same place of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Priscilla Wickham, for and in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred pounds Common Money to her in hand secured to be paid before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents, the Receipt whereof the said Priscilla Wickham doth hereby acknowledge: Hath given, granted, bargained, sold, alliened, confirmed and made over, and by these presents. Doth give, grant, bargain, sell, allien, confirm and make over unto the said Nathaniel Wickham his heirs and assigns for ever, all that Tract or parcel of Land called Tylars Range, granted to Robert Tylar the tenth Day of December seventeen hundred and fourteen, lying and being in Prince George's County and Province afs.d Begining at two bounded white oaks standing on a Fork of the North West Branch of the North East branch of Potomoke River that runs by M.r Spriggs Quarter, and runing thence North West up the Branch two hundred and twenty perches to a bounded white oak standing on the East side of the said branch, thence North twenty Degrees East two hundred perches to a bounded red Oak thence South East one hundred and twenty perches to a bounded white oak, thence by a straight line to the begining trees, containing two hundred Acres of Land more or less. To have and to hold the afs.d Tract of Land called Tylars Range and Premises, with the Appurtenances thereto or thereunto belonging or in any ways appurtaining unto the said Nathaniel Wickham his heirs and assigns for ever, and to the only proper use and Behoofe of the said Nathaniel Wickham his heirs and Assigns, and to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever And the said Priscilla Wickham doth for herself and her Heirs covenant and agree to and with the said Nathaniel Wickham his Heirs and Assigns, that she the said Priscilla Wickham and her Heirs, the afsd Land called Tylars range and Premises with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Nathaniel Wickham his Heirs and Assigns from and against all manner of persons whatsoever Claiming any right or Title thereunto will well and sufficiently warrant and for ever defend And further the said Priscilla Wickham doth for herself her Heirs, Executors and Administrators covenant and agree to and with the said Nathaniel Wickham his heirs and assigns, that she the said Priscilla Wickham her heirs Executors or Administrators shall and will from time to time and at all Times hereafter at the reasonable request, and at the proper Cost & Charge of the said Nathaniel Wickham his heirs or Assigns, make do suffer and execute or Cause and procure to be made done suffered and executed all and every such other and further Act or Acts Deed or Deeds Conveyance or Conveyances Assurance or Assurances whatsoever for the further and better conveying and assuring the hereby bargan'd Land and Premises unto the said Nathaniel Wickham his heirs and Assigns for ever. In Testimony whereof I the said Priscilla Wickham have hereunto set my hand and seal the Day and year first above written her Sign'd seal'd & deliv.d Priscilla P Wickham (seal) in Presence of mark Jos Wood Tho Price On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorsed, to wit. May 31.st 1771. Received of Nathaniel Wickham One hundred pounds Common Money it being the Consideration Money within mentioned her Witness Jos Wood P.r Priscilla P Wickham Tho Price mark Frederick County sct I hereby Certifie that Joseph Wood & Thomas Price Gentlemen before whom the above acknowledgment was taken & signed were at the Time of taking & signing the same & still are two of his Lordship's the right honourable the Lord Proprietary his Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid, duly & legally authorized & assigns &c & that to all Acknowledgments by them so taken & signed due faith & Credit is & ought to be given in Justice Court & thereout In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed the Publick Seal of the said County this 13.th day of June Anno Domini 1771.
