182 Mordecai Moore Thomas Moore and Charles Moore for and in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and eighty seven pounds three Shillings and three pence Sterling to them in hand paid at or before the ensealing and Delivery of these presents by the said Anthony Stewart, the Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part and Parcell thereof do clearly and absolutely acquit exonerate and discharge the said Anthony Stewart his Executors and Administrators for ever by these presents, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released and Confirmed and by these presents do bargain, grant, sell alien, enfeoffe release and Confirm unto the said Anthony Stewart his Heirs and Assigns for ever, all these two Tracts or parcells of Land lying and being in Ann Arundel County and on the south side of south River, as is hereafter expressed, that is to say one piece or parcel of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Scorton and Burge, beginning at a bounded Chesnut post, standing near and on the South east side of the Main rode leading from London Town to South River Church, it being the Westermost boundary of Richard Moore's Orphans Land, and running from thence with the said Orphans land, North forty three Degrees East fifty two Perches to another Chesnut post on a high Hill and near the said Road, and from thence still with the said Road and Orphans Land North thirty three Degrees East sixty seven perches to another Chesnut Post it being the Northermost Boundary of the said Orphans Land, thence North forty four and a Quarter Degrees West ninety five Perches four Links to a bounded Cedar post standing in the East by North line of the whole Tract called Scorton and Burge, Thence with the said line the reverse thereof West by South One hundred fifty nine and three quarters Perches to a Stone on the South west side of a Branch, and a little to the Northward of old Robert Welshes late dwelling House, it being also a Boundary of the whole Tract called Scorton and Burge, and a Boundary of a Tract Called Townhill, thence with a straight line to the Begining Chesnut Post, containing and now laid out for One hundred and fifty Acres and three quarters of an Acre of Land more or less. Also all that Tract or parcell of Land adjoining the abovementioned Land Called Security, Beginning at an Old Ash Stump standing in a Branch and running from thence with the original line of the aforesaid Tract called Scorton and Burge instead of a Northwest course as mention'd in the Certificate, it is found to be a North forty nine Degrees West eighty four Perches, thence West twenty seven perches, thence instead of North fifty five and a half degrees West thirty seven perches as mentioned in the Original Certificate, it was found to be North sixty one and a ha^l^f Degrees West thirty five Perches to the bounded Post of the Land called Brewerton and Townhill as mentioned in original Certificate, and from the said Post, with the said Tract called Brewerton, instead of South eleven & a half Degrees east one hundred and fifty two Perches as mentioned in the said Certificate it was found to be South fourteen degrees East one hundred and fifty two perches thence East South Est forty Perches, thence North by East thirty six perches, thence with a straight line to the first beginning Ash Stump, containing and now laid out for sixty two and a half Acres of Land belonging or in any ways appertaining or otherways therewith used occupied or enjoyed, and all the Estate Right Title Interest, use, Trust property Claim and Demand whatsoever (of) |
