178 Parcel thereof at any time hereafter shall or may have Claim or Prosecute against the said Alexander Cumming his heirs or Assigns In Witness whereof the Party to the Presents into have unto Set her hand and Seal this fifteenth day of April one thousand Seven hundred and Seventy one Signed Sealed and Delivered in Presence of Thomas Dorsey Marg.t Cumming (seal) Jn.o Dorsey On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was Endorsed as follows, to wit. On the 15 April 1771 Came Marg.t Cumming Partie to the within Deed before us two of his Lordships Justices for Ann Ard.l County and acknowledged the within to be her Act and Deed and her writs and Dower of the Land & Premisses within mentioned to be the Right Title and Estate of the within Alex.r Cumming his Heirs and Assigns for ever the word (April) being first interlined 3½ sides Thomas Dorsey Recorded this 13.th Day of May 1771 Ex.d This Indenture made the twenty second Day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Seventy Between Thomas Dickinson Richardson Clerk Son of Anthony Richardson late of Talbot County deceased of the first part, Thomas Jenings of the City of Annapolis of the second Part and William Cooke of the same City of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Dickinson Richardson for the barring all Estates Tail and Remainders over of and in the Lands Tenements and Hereditaments herein after mentioned and for and in Consideration of the sum of five Shillings Sterling to him in hand paid by the said Thomas Jenings at or before the Execution of these Presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof acquit exonerate and discharge the said Thomas Jenings his Executors and Administrators and for divers other good Causes and Considerations him the said Thomas Dickinson Richardson thereunto moving hath granted bargained and Sold and by these Presents Doth grant bargain and Sell unto the said Thomas Jenings his heirs and Assigns the following Tracts or Parcels of Land all lying in Talbot County aforesaid (that is to say) All that Tract of Land called Parker's Park, also a Tract of Land called Brown's Lot, also a Tract of Land called Widow's Lot, and also Part of two Tracts of Land called Hazety and Partner's Hazard, which said Tracts or Parcels of Land were devised to the said Thomas Dickinson Richardson by the said Anthony Richardson his late Father To have and to hold the said Tracts or Parcels of Land and all and Singular other the Premisses with their and every of their Appurtenances unto the said Thomas Jenings his heirs and Assigns To the Intent and Purpose nevertheless that the said Thomas Jenings may be Perfect Tenant of the Freehold and Inheritance of all and Singular the aforesaid Premisses with the Appurtenances against whom a Common Recovery of the said Lands and Premisses with their Appurtenances may be had suffered and perfected as of the next Provincial Court ensuing the Date of these Presents in which said Common Recovery it is hereby agreed that the said William Cooke shall be Demandant, and the said Thomas Jenings Tenant, and the said Thomas Dickinson Richardson Vouchee who shall Vouch over the Common Vouchee after the manner and Course of a Common Recovery for Assurance of Lands and it is hereby further covenanted concluded declared and fully agreed by and between all the said Parties to these Presents that the said Common Recovery so or in any other Manner to be had and suffered as aforesaid of the aforesaid Lands and Premisses with the Appurtenances between the said Parties to these Presents shall enure and be and shall be construed deemed and taken to enure and to be to the several (Uses) |
