       the Estate of the within named Edward Dorsey for the Uses and Purposes therein mentioned And
       the said Susannah wife to the said Nathan Linthicum being by me examined privately out of
       the Hearing of her Husband declared that she made the above acknowledgment willingly and
       freely and without being induced thereto by Force or Threats of ill Usage by her Husband or
       Fear of his Displeasure, Taken and certified according to Act of Assembly the Day and Year

       This Indenture made this Twelfth Day of April Anno Domini seventeen hundred and seventy
       one Between Nathan Linthicum of Ann Arundel County Planter and Susannah his wife of
       the one Part and Edward Dorsey son of John the said County Merchant of the other part Witnesseth
       That the Nathan Linthicum and Susannah Linthicum for and in consideration of the sum of one
       hundred pounds eight shillings Sterling to them in hand paid at and before the sealing and Delivery of
       these Presents by the said Edward Dorsey son of John the Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge
       and thereof and therefrom release acquit exonerate and Discharge the said Edward Dorsey son of
       John have given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents they do
       give grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Edward Dorsey son of John his
       Heirs and Assigns all that Tract or Parcel of Land lying in the county aforesaid being part of a
       Tract of land called the Invasion Beginning for the said Tract or Parcel of Land at a four notch'd
       red Oak standing one hundred and forty Perches on the North eighty four Degrees west two hundred
       and two Perches Line of the said Invasion and running thence south twenty and an half Degrees
       west one hundred and fifty Perches to the End of the forty sixth Course of the said Invasion and
       then running on the said Land the eleven Courses following Viz South thirty six Degrees East
       fifty six perches thence North fifty nine Degrees East fourteen Perches thence South forty
       two Degrees East forty two Perches thence South fifty eight Degrees East fifty Six Perches thence
       North fifteen Degrees East sixty eight Perches thence north eleven Degrees West one hundred
       and two Perches thence North forty five Degrees West thirty four Perches thence North six
       Degrees East fourteen Perches thence south sixty nine Degrees East thirty four Perches
       thence South forty five Degrees East sixty Perches thence North twenty five and an half Degrees
       East thirty two Perches thence North nine Degrees East fifty two perches To the Land called
       the Woodford and then with a Streight Line to the Beginning containing one hundred and forty
       nine Acres of Land more or less together with all Houses Buildings Gardens Orchards Ways Waters
       Water Courses Woods Underwoods Previleges Advantages Improvements and Appurtenances
       whatsoever to the said Tract or Parcel of Land belonging or in any wise appertaining  And
       all the Estate Right Title Interest Use Trust Possession Property Claim and Demand whatsoever
       in Law or Equity of them the said Nathan Linthicum and Susannah Linthicum of in or to the said
       Tract or Parcel of Land to have and to hold the said Tract or Parcel of Land and Premisses
       with the Appurtenances to him the said Edward Dorsey son of John his Heirs and Assigns forever
       And the said Nathan Linthicum and Susannah Linthicum for themselves their Heirs Executors &
       Administrators do hereby covenant grant and agree to and with the said Edward Dorsey son of
       John his Heirs and Assigns that they their Heirs and Assigns the said Tract or Parcel of Land
       and Premisses with all and singular its Rights Members and Appurtenances from and against
       them the said Nathan Linthicum and Susannah Linthicum and their Heirs and from and
