121 to a Certain Walter Drummond and running up the said River and bounding thereon twelve perches the remainder laying back from the River to make the same One Acre of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Eytrop To have and to hold the said one Acre of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances unto the said Benj.a Fleetwood his heirs and Assigns for and during the Term or Space of Fifteen years from the Date hereof thence next fully to be Compleated and Ended and for the further time of the Lifetime of the said Reubin Perkins in case he should live longer & beyond the said limited Time of fifteen years then said Fleetwood to enjoy the same to the extent of said Reubin Perkins Lifetime and to have Regress freegress to and from said Acre of Land and Premisses both by Land and water and full liberty to build and improve on the said Acre of Ground such buildings as said Benjamin Fleetwood shall think necessary In Consideration whereof the said Benjamin Fleetwood & his heirs to pay or cause to be paid unto the said Reubin Perkins his heirs or assigns the Yearly Rent of One Shilling Sterling Money of Great Brittain Yearly and on the first day of January in every year during the above Term or Terms Time or Times and whenever this Lease or Term shall expire the Buildings and Improvements then remaining on the Premisses to be the Right and Property of the heirs of said Reubin Perkins or his or their Assigns The One Shilling yearly Rent above mentioned at the Stone dwelling house where Reubin Perkins now lives is agreed to be paid and received In Witness whereof the party's to these Presents have sett their hands and affixed their Seals the Day and year above written Sealed and Delivered Reubin Perkins (Sea) in Prence off Amos Garrett B Fleetwood (seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit On the Thirteenth day of February 1771 Came Reubin Perkins & Benjamin Fleetwood before us the Subscriber Two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County and acknowledged the same to be their Act and Deed and the within Acre of Land to be rented to & be the property of the said Benjamin Fleetwood agreeable to true Intent & meaning of the within Lease Amos Garrett Recorded this 4.th Day of March 1771 Jerem.h Sheredine 5½ sides X.d This Indenture made this Twenty first Day of January in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Seventy One between Elisha Dorsey son and Heir of Benjamin Dorsey Deceas'd of Annarundell County and Province of Maryland & Sophia Talbot his Mother and formerly widow of the said Benjamin of the one part and Joshua Griffith of Ann Arundell County and Province aforesaid Merchant of the other part Witnesseth that they the said Elisha Dorsey and Sophia Talbot for and in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and Fifty pounds Sterling Money to them in Hand paid at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof they the said Elisha Dorsey & Sophia talbot doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom & from every part and parcel thereof doth hereby Acquit Exonerate and Discharge him the said Joshua Griffith his Heirs Executors and Administrators by these Presents hath granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoff'd and Confirmed and by these Presents ^do^ grant bargain Sell Alien release enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Joshua Griffith his Heirs and Assigns forever all that part of a Tract or Parcel of Land called Talbots last Strift lying and being in Ann Arundell County on the Southermost Side of the Main Falls of Potapsico River Beginning at a mark'd Hickory Tree standing on the East Side of a Branch called Sycamore Branch and running thence North forty six Degrees West Ten Perches then North eighty two Degrees West fifty six perches then North thirty Degrees West Sixteen Perches then North Thirteen Degrees East one hundred and Seventeen Perches then North thirty four Degrees East Two hundred & thirty three perches then South forty eight Degrees East twenty eight Perches then South twenty nine Degrees East one hundred and eight Perches then South East & by South Two hundred & seventy two perches to the Beginning Tree containing and laid out for Two hundred & twenty three Acres of Land more or less with their and every of their Rights Members and Appurtenances (whatsoever) |
