113 x.d This Indenture made this Twentieth Day of December Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and seventy Between John Hood of Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one Part and Philemon Barnes of Frederick County in the Province affsd Planter of the other Part Witnesseth that the said John Hood for and in Consideration of sum of Thirty pounds Sterling money to him in Hand paid by the said Philemon Barnes Before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof he the said John Hood Doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith fully satisfied Contented and Paid and thereof and thereupon and from Every part and parcell thereof Doth fully Clearly and Absolutely Aquit Exonerate and Discharge the Said Philemon Barnes his Heirs Executors Adm.rs by these presents forever Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Alien'd Enfeoffed and Confirm'd and by these Presents doth fully Clearly and Absolutely Give Grant Bargain Sell alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Philemon Barnes his Heirs and Assigns forever all that Tract or Parcell of Land calld the Resurvey on the Horse Pasture Beginning at the original Beginning Trees and Running thence with the Original North seventy Three Deg.rs West Forty perches South seventeen Degrees and an half Degree West Thirty six Perches South thirty Six degrees West Thirty Two perches south thirty three degrees West sixty perches then North seventy six degrees West forty perches North Eleven degrees East Eighty Eight perches North Twenty five degrees West Eighty perches south sixty three degrees West forty perches South three degrees East forty perches South Seventy degrees West forty perches south Twenty one degrees East fifty Seven perches South forty six perches South forty nine degrees East Seventy four perches South Eleven degrees West Eighty perches South Seventy Two degrees East one hundred perches North Eighty Eight degrees East Twenty four perches North Twenty five deg.rs East forty four perches North fifty Eight degrees West Twenty perches North Twenty seven degrees East one hundred and sixteen perches North Seventy four degrees East Eighty Perches North thirty two degrees East forty four Perches North Twenty nine degrees West sixty six perches Then by a Streight Line to the beginning Trees Containing and Laid out for three hundred Acres of Land more or less Together with all Rights Members Appurtenances Houses Edifices Buildings Gardens Orchards Woods Under Woods Timber and Timber Trees Ways Easements Profitts Commodities Heriditaments and appertinances whatsoever to the said Land and Premises or any part or parcell thereof Belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said three hundred Acres of Land and premisses with all and Singular their Appurtenances Unto him the said Philemon Barnes his Heirs and Assigns forever to the sole Proper Use and behoof of him the said Philemon Barnes his Heirs and Assigns forever and to none Other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever And the said John Hood for himself and his Heirs Executors adm.rs doth hereby Covenant and agree to and with the said Philemon Barnes his Heirs and Assigns that he the said John Hood at the Time of the Ensealing and Delivery hereof Hath in himself good Right full Power and Lawfull Authority to give grant bargain sell alien Enfeoff and Confirm the affsd Land and Premisses Unto the said Philemon Barnes his Heirs and Assigns for Ever and that the affsd Land and Premisses at the Time of the Ensealing and Delivery Hereof is Free and Clear off and from all and every former Grants Bargains Sales Mortgages and all other Incumbrances whatsoever and that this Present grant and Sale of the said (Land) |
