       all and every such further and other Act or Acts Assurances or Conveyances in the Law
       as by the said Henry Gassaway his heirs or Assigns or his or their Council Learned in the Law
       shall from time to time Reasonable devised Advised for the further & Better Assurance
       Surety and sure making of all and singular the Premises hereby bargained and Sold so that there
       be no warrant contained therein than to warrant the same from the said Nicholas Gassaway
       and his heirs according to the true intent and meaning of these Presents In Witness whereof
       the said Nicholas Gassaway has hereunto set his hand & Seal the Day & Year first above written

       Anne Arundel County fs.t On the 27.th Day of Novemb.r Anno Domini 1770 Came the within named
       Nicholas Gassaway Party to the within Deed before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships
       Justices of the Peace for the said County and Acknowledged the within Deed and the Land and
       Premises therein contained to be the right and Estate of the within named Henry Gassaway his heirs
       and Assigns Forever and Acknowledged the same to be his Act and Deed according to an
       Act of Assembly in that case made and Provided And at the same time came Catharine
       Gassaway Wife of the said Nicholas and acknowledged her right of Dower to the within
       Mentioned Lands to be ^the^ right & Estate of the within named Henry Gassaway his heirs
       and Assigns forever and that she did the same of her own free will without any
       Compultion from her Husband or fear of his Displeasure taken & Acknowledged

       County yeoman of the one part and Charles Carroll Esquire of the City of Annapolis

       of the Sum of One hundred and Ninety Pounds one Shilling and seven
