102 hand already paid by the said Henry Gassaway the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath given granted bargained sold Aliened Released Enfeoffed and Confirmed And by these Presents do give grant bargain Sell aliene Release enfeoff and confirm unto the said Henry Gassaway his heirs and Assigns forever all that Tract or parcel of Land called Gassaways Addition lying in Baltimore County upon the Head of a River called Gunpowder River Begining at a Marked Chesnutt standing at the end of the west Line of the Land called Gassaways Ridge and Runing from thence west for Breadth one hundred and twelve Perches to a Bounded Black Oak the first bounded Tree of the Land formerly taken up for James Thompson and runing from thence North bounded on the said Land for the Length of four hundred Perches to another Bounded Black Oak Standing on a Ridge from thence runing East until it intersects the said Land called Gassaways Ridge lastly runing with a Streight Line drawn South to the first bounded Tree containing and now laid out for Two hundred and eighty Acres of Land more or less with all and Singular the Improvements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any ways Appurtaining and the Profits and Rents thereof and every part and parcel thereof with their and every of their Rights and appurtenances and all the Estate Right Title Interest, Property Claim and Demand whatsoever and Howsoever in Law or Equity of him the said Nicholas Gassaway of in and to the said Land and Premises and every part & Parcel thereof To have & to hold the said Land and Premises with all and singular the Appurtenances and Advantages thereunto belonging or in any wise Appertaining unto him the said Henry Gassaway his heirs and Assigns forever and to no other use intent or Purpose whatsoever and the said Nicholas Gassaway for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators do hereby Covenant Grant and agree to and with the said Henry Gassaway his heirs and Assigns that he the said Nich.s Gassaway his heirs Executors and Administrators do hereby Covenant Grant and agree to and with the said Henry Gassaway his heirs and assigns that he the said Nich.s Gassaway his heirs Executors and Administrators all and Singular the Premises herein before mentioned & intended to be hereby Given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and every part and Parcel thereof with their and every of their Rights and Appurtenances unto the said Henry Gassaway his heirs and Assigns from and against him the said Nich.s Gassaway and his heirs and all persons Lawfully Claiming or to claim from by or under him the said Nich.s Gassaway and no further will well and truly warrant and Defend by these presents and lastly the said Nich.s Gassaway and his heirs do further Covenant grant and agree to and with the said Henry Gassaway his heirs and Assigns that he the said Nicholas Gassaway and his heirs shall and Will from time to time and at all times hereafter forever do make Acknowledge suffer and Execute (all) |
