                This Indenture made this Second Day of April in the Year of our Lord seventeen
       hundred and sixty six Between Thomas Johnson Junior of the City of Annapolis in the
       Province of Maryland of the one part and Jeremiah Covell of Frederick County in the
       Province aforesaid Planter of the other part  Witnesseth That the said Thomas
       Johnson Junior for and in performance of a former agreement and in consideration of
       of ten shillings Sterling Money to him in hand paid by the said Jeremiah Covell at or
       before the sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby
       acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and of and from every Part and Parcell thereof
       doth release acquit and discharge the said Jeremiah Covell his heirs Executors and
       Administrators and every of them by these Presents Hath given granted bargained sold
       aliened enfeoffed and confirmed And by these Presents Doth give grant bargain sell
       alien enfeoff and confirm unto him the said Jeremiah Covell his heirs and assigns forever
       All those three hundred and six acres of Land being Part of a Tract of Land lying and
       being in Frederick County aforesaid called the Resurvey on Wild Cat Hill Beginning
       at the end of the forty first Line of the said whole Tract and from thence by and
       with the Lines thereof to the end of the sixty first Line from thence with a streight
       Line across the said Tract to the end of six perches on the eighty fourth Line
       then by and with the residue of that Line the eighty fifth eighty sixth and to the
       end of Eight perches on the eighty seventh Line of the said whole Tract and from
       thence with a streight Line to the said end of the forty first Line aforesaid
       Together with all Houses Buildings Gardens orchards ways waters water Courses
       Timbers Timber Trees woods under woods Profits Commodities advantages and
       appurtenances whatsoever to the same Part of the Tract of Land belonging or in
       any wise appertaining and the Revertion and Revertions Remainder and Remainders
       Rents Issues and Profits of the said Part of the Tract of Land aforesaid and of every
       Part and Parcell thereof And all the Estate Right Title Interest use Trust Property
       Possession Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Thomas Johnson Junior
       of in to or out of the said Part of the Tract of Land aforesaid and Premisses with the
       appurtenances To have and to hold the said Part of the TRact of Land aforesaid and
       and Premisses with its Rights Members and Appurtenances unto him the said
       Jeremiah Covell his heirs and assigns forever and to or for no other Use
       Intent or Purpose whatsoever And the said Thomas Johnson Junior doth hereby
       covenant grant and agree to and with the said Jeremiah Covell his heirs and
       Assigns That he the said Thomas Johnson Junior and his heirs the said Part
       of the Tract of Land hereby granted bargained and sold and Premisses with
       the appurtenances and every part and parcell thereof unto him the said Jeremiah
       Covell his heirs and assigns against him the said Thomas Johnson Junior
       and his heirs and against all manner of persons claiming by from or under
       him or them only shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents
