       Be it rememberd that the within named James Heath came before me
       the Subscriber being one of the right honourable the Lord Proprietary his Justices
       of the Provincial Court of the Province of Maryland and acknowledged the
       within Deed to be his act & the Land & premisses thereby granted bargaind
       & sold to be the Estate of the within named Isaac Gibbs his Heirs & Assigns
       forever and came also before me Susanna Heath wife to the said James
       Heath & being privately examined by me out of the hearing of her said Husband
       declared & acknowledged that she freely consented to the within Deeds being
       made by her said Husband and for any right of Dower Jointure or other
       right whatsoever she had or any wise might have to the Lands and
       premisses thereby bargained and sold, she freely acknowledged the same
       and that she was not induced thereto by force or Threats of ill usage by her
       said Husband or fear of his Displeasure, taken this 29.th Day of October Ann
       Domini 1765

                This Indenture made this Thirty first day of March in the year of our
       Lord One Thousand seven hundred and sixty six Between Feilder Gantt of
       Frederick County for the province of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and Lancelot
       Jacques of the City of Annapolis Merchant of the other part Whereas the said
       Feilder Gantt is now justly indebted to the said Lancelot Jacques in the sums of six
       hundred and fourteen pounds ten shillings Sterling and one hundred and seventeen
       pounds four shillings and four pence Current money with legal Interest thereon
       from the twenty third Day of November seventeen hundred and sixty four on a
       Bond or obligation passed by the said Fielder Gantt to the said Lancelot Jacques
       on that day in the penal sums of twelve hundred and ten pounds sterling and
       two hundred pounds nine shillings and eight pence Currency conditioned for the
       payment of the first aforementioned sums of Sterling and Current money on  
       the tenth day of December then next with legal interest thereon and also
       in one other sum of seventy three pounds fourteen shillings and nine pence
       half penny current money on account  Now this Indenture Witnesseth
       that the said Fielder Gantt for the consideration of the premises for the
       better securing the payment of the said several sums of sterling and Current
