730 and he shall Vouch the Common Vouchee after the Manner and Cause of a Common Recovery for Assurance of Lands And it is hereby further covenanted concluded and Agreed by and between the Parties to these Presents that the said Common Recovery so or in any other Manner suffered of the aforesaid Premises with the Appurtenances between the said Parties to these Presents shall Enure and be and shall be Construed Deemed and taken to Enure and to be to the use and Purpose herein after mentioned and delivered (that is to say) To the use and behoof of the said John Gray his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to no other use Intent or Purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals the Day and Year first above Written Signed Sealed & Delivered John Gray (Seal) in the Presence of Jeremiah Townly Chase Z Gray (seal) Benjamin Ford his Ephraim -- Gray (seal) Mark On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t On the 25.th April 1770 Received of the within Named John Gray the Sum of five Shillings Sterling being the Consideration within mentioned Witness Z Gray Jeremiah Townly Chase his Ephraim -- Gray Mark On the 25.th April 1770 the within Named John Gray Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Judges of the Provincial Court of Maryland and Acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premises therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of them the said Zachariah Gray and Ephraim Gray according to the true Intent and meaning of the said Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided 6½ Sides Recorded 25 April 1770 Acknowledged before W.m Hayward X.d This Indenture made this Seventeenth Day of November seventeen hundred and sixty nine Between Henry Ridgely of Ann Arundel County Merchant of the one part and Edward Hall son of Joseph of Ann Arundel County of the other part Witnesseth that the said Henry Ridgely for and in Consideration of the Sum of Three hundred & thirteen Pounds ten Shillings Sterling being the Principal Sum of Money and Interest due and owing by him the said Edward Hall to the aforesaid henry Ridgely and certain Mortgage made and Executed on or about the Twentieth Day of February last past by him the said Edward Hall to the aforesaid Henry Ridgely and recorded in the Provincial Court Land Records the receipt of which said Principal and Interest (he) |
