722 Instrument of Writing was her Act and Deed and the tract or parcel of Land therein mentioned with the Appurtenances was the Right and Estate of the said Samuel Chew his Heirs and Assigns and she also further Declared that she made such her Acknowledgment Voluntarily and freely without being induced thereto by Fear or threats of or ill usage by her said Husband of Fear of his Displeasure W.m Hayward 14 Sides Recorded 18.th April 1770 X.d This Indenture made the Eighth day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy Between John Cadwallader of Talbott County Gent and Elizabeth his wife Daughter of Edward Lloyd Esq.r deceased of the one part and John Hall of the City of Annapolis Attorney at Law of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Cadwallader and Elizabeth his wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of Ten Pounds Sterling Money to them in hand paid at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for divers other good Causes and Considerations them thereunto moving more specially for the Docking Barring and Extinguishing all Estates Tailes and all Reversions and Remainders thereupon Dependant of into or out of the Lands hereafter described Have and each of them Hath granted bargained sold released and Confirmed and by these Presents Do and each of them Doth grant bargain sell release and Confirm unto him the said John Hall his Heirs and Assigns all those Several Tracts or Parcels of Land lying and being in Queen Anns County contiguous to each other called Ninweh containing Six hundred Acres more or Less Nineve his Addition containing two hundred Acres more or Less and Mill Range containing one hundred and sixty three Acres of Land more or Less heretofore devised in Tail by Margaret Ward deceased to the said Elizabeth also all that Tract or parcel of Land lying and being in Kent County on the South side of Sassafras River by Patent of Confirmation called Bennetts Regulation containing one Thousand seven Hundred and thirty three Acres more or Less Also all those two Tracts or Parcels of Land lying and being in Talbot County on the southern part of Wye River called Bodwell's Indian Neck resurveyed and granted by Patent of Confirmation to Richard Bennett Esq.r deceased containing Nine Hundred & thirteen Acres of Land more or Less And also all that Parcel of Land called Carters Inheritance purchased by the said Richard from Daniel Dulany Esq.r and Henrietta ^Maria^ his wife for Three hundred Acres and is Adjoining to the said Land Called Bodwells Indian Neck together with all and Singular the Houses Edifices Buildings and Improvements to the aforesaid several Tracts or parcels of Land belonging and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of every part and parcel thereof and all the Estate Right Title Interest Use Trust property Claim and demand whatsoever of them the said John Cadwallader and Elizabeth his wife of into or out of the Premises To Have and to Hold the said several Tracts or parcels of Land lying and being in Queen Ann's Kent and Talbott Counties (and) |
