718 Received of George Moore the Sum of Nine Shillings and ten Pence three farthings Sterling it being the Alienation Money on four Hundred and Ninety seven Acres and a half old Rent for the use of Lord Baltimore by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan his said Lordships Agent & receiver General Jn.o Brice 6 Sides Recorded 18.th April 1770 Exam.d This Indenture Tripartite made this sixteenth day of April in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and Seventy Between John Moore of Kent County in the Province of Maryland Planter and Cassandra his Wife of the first part and George Moore of the County and Province aforesaid Planter of the second part Witnesseth that John Moore and Cassandra his wife for and in Consideration of the sum of five hundred Pounds Current Money to them in hand paid before the Sealing and Delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath granted bargained Sold Aliened and Confirmed And by these Presents Doth grant Bargain Sell Alien enfeoff and Confirm unto the said George Moore his Heirs and Assigns all them several Tracts or Parcels of Lands and Lotts Buildings Fences and Improvements and Advantages whatsoever thereon or on any part or either of them Erected or built Situate lying or being or to or with them or any or either of them used occupied Enjoyed or belonging with their and every of their Appurtenances And the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profitts of them several tracts of Lands or Lotts hereafter mentioned that is to say one Tract or parcel of Land called Comegys farm Containing one Hundred and thirty Acres Latly the Property of Elizabeth Adair lying and being in Kent County one piece or parcel of Ground lying and being in Baltimore Town in the County of Baltimore in the Province of Maryland being part of two Lotts Numbered 59 and 60 with a Large Brick Messuage wherein the Late Robard Adair Esq.r Lived one other pice or parcel of Ground near Baltimore Town lying and being in the County aforesaid called Coles Addition Containing Sixty seven Acres more or Less one other Tract or Parcel of Land called Arabia Petra whereon John Dunn formerly Lived containing Two hundred Acres as by a Deed of Conveyance from Jacob Giles & Isaac Webster to Robard Dunn may fully appear lying and being in the County aforesaid one other Tract or parcel of Land called Marys Delight lying and being in the County aforesaid and all other Lands in the Countys aforesaid that I have in my Possession as Heir to the aforesaid Robard Adair in right of my wife To Have and to Hold the aforesaid Parcels of Lands and all and Singular the said Premises with the Appurtenances hereby Conveyed meant mentioned or intended so to be unto the said George Moore his Heirs and Assigns ^to the only proper use & behoof of him the said George Moore his Heirs & Assigns^ forever In Witness whereof the said John Moore and Cassandra his wife hath hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the Day and Year first above Written Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of Jn.o Moore (Seal) Beriah Maybury Samuel Seon Cassandra Moore (seal) John Morray Vide Deed Geo Moore to Jn.o Moore page 716 Shou'd have been recorded after this Deed of John Moore & wife to Geo Moore Test R Ghiselin Cl |
